It's A Girl Thing!

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!
Prize Winners will be announced on February 15, 2020.

Thirty-six caring Sponsors and eight DT Members have partnered with us to bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public. For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page. Thanks for learning About Turner Syndrome

Eight talented and caring designers (including me!) are offering prizes on their personal blogs as well:

My prize will be a $20 gift card! I'll announce my winner on February 15th - good luck!  To be eligible, just leave a comment below, telling me something you've learned about TSA during this hop!

My TS related project is inspired by the TSA official color board:

Jan Mahew from Jan's Digi's has made a beautiful stamp set for the Turner Syndrome Foundation and for the Blog Hop. You can purchase it HERE in her store for only $2 and all the money from the sales of this stamp set is going to be donated to the Turner Syndrome Foundation!! Isn't that AWESOME!!! Thank you so much Jan Mahew!!

Here is my card:

I wish that you could see the pretty shiny dimension! Each of the butterflies, and the flowers/ribbon, were fussy cut, and popped up with dimensional foam. Each was then highlighted with Glossy Accents. I love the feminine softness of these images, AND they were pre-colored!!! Bonus!!!

I have learned a lot about a syndrome I wasn't aware of until Lori's hop last year. I feel blessed to be a part of this awareness blog hop!

Be sure to visit the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop 2020  page to become eligible for prizes.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

The butterflies on your card are so pretty! I love putting butterflies on cards--they add so much color and dimension--and yours look fantastic. It is so important that we use our card crafting abilities for good, and you are certainly doing your part. I not only learned what Turner Syndrome is, but that 99% of conceptions do not live to birth. So very sad!

I did not know about Turner Syndrome so thank you for all the information. It seems there are many syndromes that are "new" just because they are not often talked about.
