Wish you were here...

Howdy, ya'll,
hope that you are having a great week - happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new Photo Inspiration Challenge at The House that Stamps Built.

Here's the sketch:

And here's my card, using Repeat Impressions' Stamps:

Wow, this one was tough for me, so I finally cheated. Yep, cheated!
I found a clip art online of a pretty sunset, and that's my
card base. For the wine glass, I inked up only one of the two wine
glasses, and used some Copics to color the glass a bit.
Then the sentiment was stamped. It was all matted, and adhered
to a gold card base. That's that!

The inspiration photo reminded me of the 'Calgon, take me away' commercial, so I went
for easy peasy!  In all fairness, I had some stamps ordered for this lovely
photo inspiration challenge, but the USPS is living up to the 'snail mail' title!

Now, let's do some hopping to see what my DT friends have created!

Cheri     Deonna     Joy     Karen     Kathy     Melissa

Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up your card this week!

Hugs,
Patti

Holy smokes, did you ever nail it. Love that you found clip art for your wine glass. There are so many ways to use a delicious wine glass.

Beautiful card Patti. You sure picked a beautiful sunset to use. How disappointing your stamps didn't arrive on time. Sure would be nice to sit by that sunset with a glass of wine.

Hehehe, if you're going to cheat, then you might as well do a good job of it and this is stunning! Great card, my friend!
Have a wonderful day.

I wouldn't say you cheated, Patti. I'd say you're resourceful and creative. Not all of us could have thought to find that lovely image online. Your card is beautiful.
