Blessings in measures of oodles...

Hi there, and Happy Saturday!  I'm here today with my Scraptownlady post, and have chosen to, again, highlight some of the amazing designer papers that are carried in Cheryl's store.

My first item is the above CAS Christmas card (as many of you have specifically requested CAS!).  I love this beautiful distressed 'enhancement' from Authentique, and it made such a pretty focal image against the matching designer paper.  Hope you like it!  Two sheets of paper, and a few pop dots later, voila!

Lid, complete with Petaloo Flowers

Next up is the above Blessings box.  I have been hoarding this empty oatmeal container for eons and decided this was the right time to alter it.  Again, a very easy project.  I wrapped the container with the designer paper, used cut outs from the 'enhancement' sheet, added a die cut and a few flowers on the lid, and I have a wonderful container to hold all of my blessings.

Just for the record, I am, indeed, blessed in measures of oodles!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Patti J.

Hello Patti, so much fun to see you here on your blog. Your card is so pretty, I'm finding that the CAS card style is very appealing to me. I love your blessings container, what a lovely idea and now you've inspired me to remember those oatmeal containers and not just toss them out!

Such a beautiful CAS Christmas card. I'm not surprised people are requesting to see more CAS cards. Who has the time to spend three hours on one card? Love the design and your project!

Wonderful card utilizing that beautiful paper & the matching die cut embellie. Looks like very vintage wall paper sometimes seen in historical houses (not sure, is it called Dutch or something?where the did the stylized flowers?). This is lovely paper & some I've not seen. Made such a pretty card. Loved your oatmeal box too. That lid was something awesome!! TFS & Hugs. Happy Thanksgiving.

Love what you did with the oatmeal box. Thanks for the tip about patterned paper. I never think to use that.

Hi Patti! Cute projects!

Thank you for your comments on my blog. How fun that you come down each year for the Cardinals Spring training! We live in Abacoa and I could walk to Roger Dean stadium. Let me know when you're coming down as there are a couple crops I go to that may be going on. Two of the girls I sometimes see are from Missouri -- one was raised there and the other has a business in St. Louis with her husband. Hope to meet you this year!
