A Guiding Light...

Happy Wednesday!

It's my day to post for ScrapTownLady, and I thought I'd take a few minutes to honor the father's out there!  I never knew my 'real' father, but was blessed to have been raised by a wonderful 'dad', then welcomed and loved by an amazing father-in-law.  I married my best friend, over 40 years ago, and he has been the best father ever.  So, today's post is dedicated to father's everywhere!

The sentiment is computer generated, and reads "A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.  ~Author Unknown

This shows the lights out, and the little tea light all lit up!

Matching tag, made with "Hope" Elements, reads, "All of our blessings and love to you Dad".

This photo shows the set together.

Authentique's "Strong" Collection seemed so fitting for this project!

The ScrapTownLady store has the most beautiful selection of papers, ribbons, and embellishments!  Authentique is one of my favorite lines, and I hope you liked today's gift set!

Designers Tip:  When creating a special hand made card, layout, or gift, consider a computer generated sentiment.  You can choose your font, the size, and make your sentiment as personalized as you like!

Thanks for stopping by!

You always wow me when you do a 3D project! This is amazing, PJ. I am rather emotional this week myself, wishing that my brother and dad could be with us to celebrate the next generation being born. Plus, I have a new dad to honor on this special day! I am headed back for another week of cuddles.

What a fantastic creation from paper! I love it and the fact that you can put a tealight in it to make it shine is awesome! TFS!

Aw, this one's sweet, Mom. It made me tear up a little, thinking about both grandpas and Dad. Dad's (and your!) love and the principals you guys raised us with really are a guiding light.
