Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope that you and your special someone have a nice day today.

We had quite a winter storm yesterday, so I'm in for the day!  DH had an encounter with some black ice on his way home from work last night, and his truck is WAY out of commission, so he has my car.  He's just fine - no injuries to him, just to the truck... can I just say how much I dislike those steel posts and cables in the highway medians?  lol...

The Valentine's card I began yesterday about 4 p.m. was put on hold - well, actually on 'stop'! until this morning.  I have a cute C.C. Designs Trevor (from All That Scraps) to share with you today.  Trevor apparently lives in Florida, or Hawaii, as he's not a bit chilly in his shirt sleeves.  He's on his way to surprise his sweetie with a bouquet of fresh tulips, and he's a bit nervous!  I'm sure his sweetie will love them!

Click to enlarge photos if you wish - I think I finally figured that system out!

Supplies: Tulip Trevor, Sparkle Hearts by Personalized by You (Archiver's), CC Designs Spring Sentiments, Copic Markers, White Vision Pen, My Mind's Eye "Love Me" Collection DP, DCWV Blue CS.

I'm entering this card into the "Anything Goes" challenge at All That Scraps.

I am also entering at "Queen of my Craftroom" - Valentine's Day Card for your Sweetheart

Happy Valentine's Day, dear friends!  Thanks for stopping by!

It's beautiful today though...fresh snow so white and bright! Sunshine after snow is always so fortifying! hehe

Glad the hubby's okay!

Love your card, my friend!

Gotta find out more about changing over to replace Google Friends Connect -- don't really know yet what to do about it! I wish Google would just leave well enough alone!!!

Adorable card. I'm glad your husband is ok. Black ice is a bad thing. I tangled with it once and it won.

Glad to hear your DH is OK. A truck can be replaced. And it's not always that bad to stay home snug and warm the day after a storm. :)

Your card is lovely. I like your little fellow with his nicely creased jeans. He will certainly impress his sweetheart!

Hope you are having a lovely Valentine's! :)

Patti, card is so cute, Trevor is adorable.

Glad your husband is okay, truck not so much but easier to fix.

My understanding of the Google friends is it's only going away for non-blogger blogs, like typepad, wordpress, etc.

Hugs
Sue

First - glad to hear Stan is OK.

Second - Lovely card! All the details and yes, I did enlarge it to see it all! You're such an inspiration...

Third - Thanks for Kimmie's b'day wishes. Doesn't she realize she's making me old at the same time she has a B'day?

Fourth - Love my days off. What does that say about my job?!? I have 100+ sick days, think I should start using them...

Fifth - Happy Belated Valentine's Day to you and Stan!

Oh Patti, how scary about your hubby's accident -- so very thankful to hear that he is alright! We had a black ice incident like this early in our marriage, and I'll tell you, I've never taken a day together for granted since. Your card is SO adorably sweet. Trevor is a little doll, I'm sure that he has nothing to worry about -- his sweetheart will welcome him with open arms! :-)
