Doodle Pantry August Releases are Here!!!

Good morning!

Where in the world did July go? I blinked and it's gone!

It's August 5th, and that means Laurie has stocked the Doodle Pantry with the new August releases! And what a HUGE release she has this month - wait until you see how many new sets are available!

I am using the Topiary Seasons set today.
Oh my - this set has so many pieces!
You can choose your season, your topper, your planter, what fun!
The stamp that I'm using today came complete, and was pre-colored.
The designer paper is also a new release set this month, called Four Seasons Papers.
You will squeal with delight when you see all of the paper choices in this set!

These little acrylic frames are so much fun to work with!
For mine, I printed the image from the Topiary Seasons set, and the sentiment from the Daffodill-Sweet Peas set.
Both were matted on a rust CS scrap.
I printed the sunflower DP for my background.
This was put IN the frame.
I also printed and matted a calendar.
The sunflower topiary was printed again, and this time I cut out the flowers to use as embellishments.
All items were put on the frame with Velcro dots, so that they can be changed out for the different seasons.
A small post it pad completes the front.
On the back, I used the DP with a Pentel RSVP pen, and a velcro dot, so there is always a matching pen available!
It, too, can be changed for the next season.

Hurry over to The Doodle Pantry to check out all of the fabulous new sets, and to see what gorgeous creations the other DT members and our three special Guest Designers have put together for you!
While you are at the Doodle Pantry store, check out Laurie's great August deals - wow!
The specials start today!

We have also posted a new challenge (DPBC15) on the Doodle Pantry Blog.
The theme is simple - Use a Doodle Pantry image.
If you don't have any DP images, you can go to the DP store and snag a freebie!!!
ALL PARTICIPANTS in this challenge will receive a pre-selected image for free,
and one lucky participant will win a $15 Doodle Pantry Gift Certificate!

Can't wait to see your creations in the challenge - have a great day! It's FRIDAY!!!!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

Luck favors the backbone, not the wishbone.

I love it when you make sets! So inspiring and creative juices just start flowing!

Oh how cute is this - and it all comes together so nicely, I "may" have to "case" this one especially with the pen and velcro dot on the back - very smart. Off to check out the new images from Laurie.

I LOVE this!! So creative!!! I love how you could change the paper out in the background as well .... hmmmm ... if you kept the front generic, you could change the paper out for different seasons ... and ... add a few magnets where the matching embellisments would go and you could change those out too!!! Thanks for the inspiration my friend!
