Happy Easter!

Hello!

This will be a short and apologetic post. I'm sorry that I have not been around to visit - we've had several days of extreme storms, sporadic power outages, etc. (Some of you may have seen news footage of the airport in St. Louis after the tornado went through last night.) Needless to say, our computers have been off much more than on for the last week or so. As soon as Mother Nature puts her happy pants back on, I'll be out and stalking on a regular basis again!

Made a few of these cards with DP's and punches by flashlight last night, and thought I'd post one and tell you all "Happy Easter"!!!

We'll start our day at a 6:15 a.m. sunrise service, and I'll be sure to send up a few special prayers for you all!!!

Have a great Sunday!

Hugs,
Patti J.

This is absolutely adorable, Patti! I can't imagine cardmaking by flashlight -- that dedication! Hope Mother Nature is soon wearing happy pants -- never heard that expression but love it!!

Hi Patti. Wasn't the weather last night CRAZY. We are only 5 miles from the airport, and had power outages for about 7 hours last night. Here's hoping the weather calms down long enough for your sunrise service. Have a very blessed Easter.

Patti! I am so glad you are ok! I saw the airport on the news today and am amazed that no one was seriously hurt or lost their life! Have a blessed Easter!

Happy Easter Patti and glad to hear that you managed to stay safe during all of the 'stuff' happening throughout the US. Your card is so cute ... did you eat the jelly beans that were left over???

Been thinking about you with all the tornado coverage all the way out here in CA! I bet that arch is swaying! I've been there on a calm day and it still sways! LOL! Hope things resume normal soon!! Awesome shaker card too. Love those things!

Love that little bunny with the jelly belly! Just glad you are safe. The storms have been brutal. I was so hot and humid yesterday, that we knew when they hit, they were going to be doozies. I don't travel well to begin with, and lets just say I was like a cat climbing curtains on our way home from my DD's last night. Thanks for the extra paryers, and hope you had a beautiful day!

Patti what an adorable card! I hope that the weather has calmed down a bit for you. It is tough to craft without power.

You know when it rains I have no internet - but...love my bunny card and love the texture embossing folder you used - can't wait to use mine. These jelly beans will never pull a crown off in my mouth (LOL).

Such a cute idea making the bunny with the Sweet Treat cups! I never would have thought to make a bunny! Hope you and your family are safe & sound. My parents were flying into the St. Louis airport sometime this afternoon so I hope things got cleaned up! Stay safe! TFS!

The weather has been crazy here too --nothing like St Louis but enough that it blew FIOS and we didn't get it back until yesterday. Glad you are safe and the storms have passed.
Your card is absolutely adorable! Love the jellybean tummy.

What an adorable Easter Card! I just love the concept. Sorry your having so many bad storms. It seems like it's a bad spring for everybody. Here in Wisconsin, it just won't warm up. Were expecting snow flurries AGAIN!!!! It is so depressing.

so cute! and created by flashlight makes it even sweeter! I was in St. Louis one time for some classes and I'd met a friend and we were going to stamp all day but this truck ran into the utility poll outside the holiday inn and it was so dark in that hotel we didn't get to do a thing! I understand!

So, so cute! I hope the weather is better for you guys. We were just watching an update on Fox news a little while ago, and I can not believe the size of the tornado that went through Tuscaloosa. Sounds like it left a large path of destruction behind. So sad. I will pray for your safety my friend! hugs to you, Melisa
