Wild About You...

I've been sort of MIA for a few days. I was working on some birthday invitations for a cutie patootie that is turning one next month!
My long-time followers will remember me making 110 birth announcements last year.
Well, this little guy will be a year old already in July!

I used this Stampin' Up set that is now retired, Wild About You. When I was looking around one day on SCS, I saw a card made with these stamps, by Amanda Mertz. I emailed Amanda, and asked if she would mind if I totally cased this card, as it was PERFECT for this young man's 1st birthday. She didn't mind at all, (aren't stampers the best people???) so shown below is the finished product! If you have some time, check out Amanda's blog - she's a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, and has some beautiful projects to share with you!!!

Here is the inside left of the card. Due to the family info, I can't show the right side, but I thought you'd enjoy seeing our little ham! He is just darling, and smiles all the time. I think his momma said that he was trying 'not' to smile in this picture.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope that you are having a great Friday, and that you enjoy your weekend.

Ours will be spent re-grouting the floor that we paid very large dollars to have put down. Ugh...

Smiles and Blessings...

What a great card! How many of these are you making?? He's adorable! Re-grouting the floor that you paid someone to do already??? Sorry to hear that's necessary. Don't forget to wear knee pads! (if that sounds like the voice of experience, it is!)

Patti, these invites are such a wonderful gift...that little guy will be seeing one of those in his baby book I'm sure.

Such a cute design and perfect for this baby's first birthday. What a great friend you are to do this, I'm sure his Mom is loving them.

What a cutie. Looks like he is wrinkling up his nose.....my kids used to do that when faced with a camera.

I can see why the Wild About You set was shouting to you. In heaven, there will be a Stampin' Up Library from which I will borrow that set if I ever have little children in my life again. I envy you having a one year old in your life.........the Grandma-days of kids-before-their-teens were my favorite years of all.
