Tons of Love...

Can you believe that the weekend has come and gone so quickly? Many of you are off work/school tomorrow due to Martin Luther King Day. Hopefully the extra day will give you a chance to reflect on the holiday, and to rest up a bit more!

It is also Magical Monday at There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes!

Our challenge this week comes from Olga Jewell. Olga is so much fun! Her challenge is to use Nina's free digital image for the week, Ton's of Love, and to add some RBS's to it! She is challenging you to use Red Ribbon, Buttons, and Glitter, OR something that Sparkles!

What a joy this image was to work with! I tried three times to give this darling elephant a real fabric skirt, and three times, I had to re-color and start over, SO.... she has lots of sparkles on her skirt instead! (Pink sparkles, Kim!!!) Having just finished reading Water for Elephants, this pretty elephant made me think of Rosie from the book, and Rosie wore pink sequins!

Today would have been my mother's 77th birthday, and she would have loved the bling on this card! Happy Birthday mom!

Here's a shot with sparkles on her skirt!

Another shot with Red Ribbon, and Buttons!

Hurry over to There's Magic in the Air, and pick up your free image! Create something fun, and enter it in the weekly challenge - you could win something totally cool! While you are on your computers today, be sure to check out Nina's Store - Paper Cupcakes! She has just posted 27 (TWENTY-SEVEN!!!) new images! You won't be disappointed!

Have a wonderful Monday! Can't wait to see what you create!
I promise to try harder to post a bit more this week! We've been laying a new floor in our sunporch (it's nearly half finished!), and getting started on taxes, so I've been a bit busy.

Hugs!
Patti J.

What a beautiful tribute to your mom. The elephant is so cute. I have a card posted today that I had to color 3 times too. It still has a ton of mistakes:( See how much we are alike. Freaky I tell ya!

Isn't this elephant a sweety? Never thought to make a fabric skirt, great idea but our ideas are not always so easy to implement! Love the bling, my kindergarten background tells me that any piece of artwork with glitter is always a beauty, therefore, I add glitter, sequins, rhinestones, etc to everything I can...can you tell I miss teaching Kindergarten? LOL. Well off to enjoy 'another' day off, you're right, I need to retire! Have a great day.

Patti this is such a cute card. I love all the pink and I also had to give her skirt some sparkle. I really like your heart with the verse. Don't work too hard!!!!

Adorable cards Patti, I love how you colored that elephant!
I may try to play along today, but of course there is snow on my day off and hubby is working so I'm in charge of removal today. That and I haven't done my school work yet....the work is never done!

Oh, and NO I'm not a Jets fan!!! A Patriot's fan actually, but they're out of it so I just watched the games yesterday and enjoyed since I didn't care about the outcomes.
