Glaze it Up!

This card is for Gina K's technique challenge this week.
The challenge is "Glaze it Up" - we are to use our glaze pens on our images. (My photo doesn't show the glazing very well (sad face)...
Go to Stamp TV and watch Gina's wonderful video showing the technique.
She features a new technique each week, all of which are incredible, and she is an excellent speaker and teacher.
Her videos are easy to follow, and to remember.
Past videos are posted on the sidebar (thought I'd tell you that, because once you've watched one, you will want to watch them all)!

I used Rupa Shvede's "So Grateful" set, found at Gina K. Designs and a Gelly Roll Glaze Pen. (My photo doesn't show the glazing very well - sad face)... I distressed with Tim Holtz Old Linen Ink, stamped with Versafine Brown Ink, and used Gina's Pure Luxury Ivory CS. The brown CS is from my stash.

We had another glorious day in Missouri. It warmed up enough that driving through town, I had my sunroof and window open. Not bad for November!

***

DD came in this evening and complained of a very sore throat. No fever, just generally puny. Turned in before 8:00! Not like her at all...hope she's not getting strep, or that awful piggy flu or something!

***

Well, have a great evening! I'm going to try to clean up my workspace so I can work tomorrow on planning my stamp club projects for next week. My BFF Shirley volunteered me to be the leader of the pack! We're going to be working on masking, as some of the ladies have never masked before. We'll do masking, reverse masking, and maybe some Retiform Grid stuff if there is time! Let me know ASAP if you have any super duper ideas!

G'night...

Patti J.

Food for thought.....If you throw a cat out the car window, does it become Kitty Litter?

Beautriful Patti! A card I would call "simply elegant". Enjoy the week-end, I'm off to Jeff City in the morning to visit my sister-in-law and then to Tan-Tar-A on Sunday with Joan until Tuesday! I will miss everyone!

Hi Patti! The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. (Fortunately for me!)I'm just having a heck of a time catching up after being gone LAST week. I mean, holy cow, how can this be? I think I need to retire!

What a beautiful Thanksgiving card! I can't believe we're already well into November. Christmas is everywhere! No respect for the pilgrims (haha).

I sure hope DD doesn't come down with that awful crud that's spreading like wildfire everywhere! You take care, too!

Now off to see what else I've been missing...

Love and hugs,
Lisa

Beautiful card Patti (despite the pic not showing the glaze so well) and I love the bow you created...you're making the wheels turn in my head which is a miracle!

Hope DD isn't coming down with whatever knocked me out. I barely made it through the school day yesterday (5 kids were out still) and am enjoying the morning in my pjs. Can't wait to see all the fabulous ideas you come up with for your stamp club!!!
