Ahoy, Matey....

Happy Tuesday!

We are blessed that DD had business nearby this week, so we are getting a few minutes with her this week.  When they live so far from home, we are satisfied with whatever time we can get with them.

Have you had any wonderful blessings this week?

I have a really 'sassy' card to share with you today....a lady in red!
I can't share the inside sentiment, as it is REALLY sassy, but hope the outside brings you a smile or two.
Just in case you don't already know, she's what I look like on the INSIDE...
and I'll have you know that I can also fit into the same earrings that I wore in high school...tee hee!

This image is from Sassy Studio Designs, and is colored with Copic markers.
The sentiment inside and outside are computer generated.
Added a bit of Spica Glitter Pens for sparkle.
Would have added 'sand' if I could have found my container!  lol...

I'm entering this card in the challenge at Craft Your Passion, which is Anything Goes.
(Sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs).

Be sure to stop over at Dawn's blog, and check out her giveaway!!!!

Another blessing to report - I received happy mail yesterday!
If you get your copy of Scrap and Stamp Arts, I have a card on page 21, in the 'Birds' catagory.
I had sent this in SO long ago, that I'd forgotten it!

Have a good evening!  Back tomorrow with a CAS Christmas Tag, using Amuse stamps!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Reading Rachel

Good Morning,
and...
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian Friends
out there in Blogland!!!

Just a little something on the inside...
lol...when DD was here this weekend, she actually thought I had her in mind when I created this card. Isn't the image fun? And the sentiment? Love them both!

I don't know if you remember, but a few weeks ago, I won a challenge, and the prize was digi images from Sassy Studio Designs...this was one of my free images, Reading Rachel! The sentiment was a freebie from Create with TLC!

Coloring is done with Copics, Edge punch by Martha Stewart, Blossom Nestie & Marvy punches used on front.
CS is Bazzill Basics, and ribbon is from Michael's.

I am going to enter this card here:

Sassy Studio Designs: Think Pink
Raise the Bar Challenge: Pink + add a female image
Stamp Something: Something Punchy

Have a great day!

We have a winner!

Hello dear friends!
This darling image was one of four images that I won at For Fun Challenges a couple of weeks ago. It's by Sassy Studio Designs, and I thought she was absolutely perfect for this week's Pirate challenge at CCEE Stampers!
Hope you like it! All coloring is with my Koh-I-Noor Pencils and LOMS. CS is DCWV
I entered this card here also:
Stamp Something: Use a digi image

What an exciting Sunday we had. We went to a neighboring city about 1.5 hrs. away to watch our dear daughter participate in her first half marathon. It was amazing how many people of all ages, body types, and physical condition turned out to run this race. It was also fun to watch the 'cheerleaders' for other runners. We spent a very nice morning, in beautiful weather conditions watching Melissa start AND finish this race. For those not familiar, a half marathon is 13.1 miles. The race officials said this course was actually 13.2. We are so proud of her for attempting and finishing. The course had many inclines, and some of the inclines were steady uphill for a long way. Anyway, thanks for listening to me brag a bit, and for looking at our photos.
The Starting Gate (Arch)...
Before the race began...
About 2/3 of the way through the race...
Crossing the finish line... the 5k runners and race winners were cheering on others as they finished.

Have a great week!

Hugs and smiles!

Patti J.
