Here's what I made:

My first card uses a brand new image 'SD1067 God is Within Her' and a July release, 'S857 Burst'. The image was colored with Copic markers, masked off, and the background was stamped in Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold powder.

This card features a fun new sentiment that could have been written with me in mind! My face tells all... the stamp is 'SD1059 My Mouth'.  Again, I've used the 'S857 Burst' for the background. The sentiment and the background were stamped with Tim Holtz 'Rustic Wilderness'. They were then highlighted with a few pink accents using a Copic marker.  The cute image is an older, but fun image 'RB010 Sassy Sue', which was colored with Copic markers. Glossy Accents were added to her eyeglasses, and some black stickles completed her headband.

I noticed you've been using Burst alot. You really have shown me that it works on all cards, one way or another. This stamp works beautifully with the new release. Having Burst in your background is perfect. The cat is so well coloured. Happy New Year.

Both your cards are great. I love the "Burst" background. I've gotten a similar effect using inks and a piece of cardstock. You can see what I'm talking about here:https://paperpanacea.blogspot.com/2020/06/fathers-day-cards-take-two.html

Happy New Year to you and your DH. I wish you much crafting joy in the months ahead.

I think the background Burst is going to have to be added to my collection, love the way you use it so many different ways. After seeing some of the January collection I think I am going to have to make an order soon. My first order of 2021. Because I really NEED more stamps.

Hello and Happy New Year friend! You've started out the year with a couple of really cute and wonderful card designs here! I do love that burst background you've used for both designs and I chuckle at the sentiment on the second one!! Looking forward to lots of crafty inspiration with you this year sweet lady! HUGS
