I have a fun Technique Junkies card to share with you today using one of the funny June stamp set 'Inside Out: Silence is Golden'. The image is a stamp from an earlier release, 'The Happy Housewife'. Also used was 'A Colorful Life 6 x 9 Stencil', 'Faded Petals'.
The card is 5 x 7. I don't usually use that size, but I love the way it turned out! To start, the image was stamped on a white panel. I colored the face, legs, & nightgown with Copic Markers. The next step was to carefully stencil around the image using an Ink Blending Brush.
Next, I stamped the image again, onto a piece of polka dot designer paper, and fussy cut the curlers, housecoat, and slippers, and adhered them over top of the original image.

Oh, so funny and so true! I'm a carbon copy of my mother in both looks and behaviors. Patti, even though I swore I wouldn't be. Lol In my teen years, that would have been a horrible thing but today, years after my mother is gone, I find it a bit comforting to look in the mirror and see her lookimg back at me. 😊
