Repeat Impressions Project of the Week - Treat Box

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Project of the Week

The holidays are quickly approaching, and I thought it would be fun to share a cute little gift box that is a favorite 'go to' for me.  When I need something in a hurry, I reach for this. I wish I knew where I'd first seen this - more than likely it was one of those uber-talented
Stampin'Up! gals, but I drew it in my little sketch book a few years back, and don't know
who gets the credit for it...sorry!!!

I used these Repeat Impression Stamps:

Let's get started!

Cut one piece of cardstock to 11" x 3.25"
On long side, score at 4.75" and 6.25"

Cut another piece of cardstock to 5" x 3 3/8".
Score 1" on all four sides.

Burnish all score lines.
On your 5" x 3 3/8" piece, snip in to the fold line, creating your box tabs.
(I always trim mine a bit on either side of the tab, as shown, to make a nice fit)

Add some good adhesive to your box flaps, and create your box.

Here is what it will look like.

Add some adhesive to your box bottom.

Remove strips and adhere box to bottom of outer cover, as shown below.

That's it!  You're done, except for decorating!  You can add designer paper, or just
stamp a cute little scene like I did here.

Here is this same box created for Christmas a year or two ago.

I used these Repeat Impressions Stamps for the Christmas box:

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you decide to give this box a try, come back
and let us know! We'd love to see what you create!

Hugs and smiles,
