Creative Vision Stamps Take Two...

Good morning!
Happy Monday, everyone - I hope you have a delightful week.

We just returned from a nice 'date' weekend.
My handsome Mr. and I drove down to Batesville, Arkansas to visit some family
members, one of whom plays in a band. We were able to have some great
BBQ, visit with family, and watch a performance!
From there, we got up the next morning and drove over to Eureka Springs, Ark.,
and took in the Great Passion Play. Oh my goodness....
We had been before, years ago, but there is nothing like this. If you are a
Christian, this is an experience you should spoil yourself with sometime.
It's an outdoor ampitheater setting, and you feel like you are actually
there, walking with Christ.

So here we are, back to Monday, back to the grind!
I thought I'd share a couple more of my Creative Visions Stamps projects
with you today.

Enjoy!

This is one of Laura's 'Sassy Girls'. This is called Workout Cookies. Isn't she just too
much fun?  And......admit it, we have all devoured a whole box of cookies at some point in our
lives, right?

This fun sentiment is called Life.

I need a beautiful, vivid black ink that I can use with or without alcohol markers.
Any suggestions????

Thanks for dropping by today,
Patti J.

Oh my word these are BOTH really adorable and beautiful creations Patti!! The girl with the cookies is so cute!! LOL!! The sunflower card is stunning!! Love all of the wonderful details and layout design!! For a black ink that you can use with water and/or alcohol I've used Hybrid Black Licorice Ink from My Favorite Things. It works nice no matter what I use with it! I'm sure there may be others, but that's what came to my mind. :) Thanks for sharing! HUGS

OMG - love the cookie eating lady - that would be me - I am the cookie monster.love how u used the sentiment as your focal point on the second card, it really pops. Great job on both cards.

Fantastic cards and so think the cookie lady is adorable. I am not a cookie monster but my hubby would devour a whole box if he wasn't diabetic. I would rather have a salty snack and if so I might devour the whole bag. LOL

What wonderful cards, Patti! Love the cookie lady - yes, I definitaly know that feeling :-) The Life sentiment is wonderful. I use Memento Tuxedo Black ink. It never smudges when I use copics and I feel that I get a good vibrant cover when I stamp. Thank you for sharing your fun weekend. Glad you enjoyed and the weather cooperated with your amphi theatre show.
Hugs,

Cute cards! Stazon? Is that sunflower "ribbon" really ribbon or paper? I really like it! When I was in youth group, we went down to the Passion Play and it was wonderful then. Another Christmas play here that I would recommend is the Raytown Baptist church production! It's amazing too! We took our cell group with us a couple of years ago -- my hubby drove the church bus there. It's usually free to get in, but you have to have a ticket, so we pre-ordered ours in advance. Did you visit any stamping/scrapbook stores in the area? There is one in Branson that we've stopped in a time or two.

Cute cards but the sunflowers really speak to me. I've been to an outdoor ampitheatre to see The Passion and it was awesome.

Wonderful cards, Patti! The black and yellow one really caught my eye. Love the contrast! When I need a sharp image, I use Versafine black ink. You do have to give it some drying time, but it stamps beautifully.

Neat cards, Patti! I really like the black and yellow one, but the first one is so cute with the awesome sentiment! Yes, I've been there...lately, too!

Hahaha yes I can confess to scoffing more cookies than I should ;)
Sounds like you had an amazing weekend xx
(I usually use Memento when I'm using copics, and Stazon for watercolours)
