Today is What-If Wednesday at Repeat Impressions. Time for a new sketch challenge! When I first saw this sketch, it scared me. I hit a brick wall...so I put it away for several days. When I brought it out again, my first thought was the new 9200 series flowers! Oh yeah....
Repeat Impressions 9203-P Daisies & Butterfly, 9206-H Beautiful Days, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Kaiser Craft Pearls, Copic Markers, Baker's Twine-Really Reasonable Ribbon. |
I stamped the 9203-P, Daisies & Butterfly, three times. Then I made a clear template of the triangles, and cut out each of the three, being careful to let a different part of the image show in each one. Color (I edged the sides of the triangles with Copic Marker, as well), adhere, add some pearls and a sentiment, and voila! A CAS card!
Please visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House that Stamps Built for all of the challenge details. We would love to see your take on the challenge! Be sure to check out my fellow Rockstars to see what great creations they have for you today! Their links are on my sidebar!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Patti J.

Lovely! Love the soft colors and placemnts of the images in the pennants. Need to let you know that I stopped at CM on the way home to buy a Card Maker mag. Love your published cards! Congrats my friend!
Your banner card is beautiful! I love the images and the colours you used. That is an interesting sketch. I may give that a try!
Hope you are having a good week! :) Doesn't seem possible that it's Wednesday already...

Love this card Patti and the pennants stand right out. They really "show off" a card. Thanks for visiting my friend, I always enjoy reading your comments. Carole xox
There is this BIG flat portion of my forehead cause every time I smack my palm to it each time get a "why didn't I think of this" moment. This card is AWESOME
. I love how you used the "Beautiful Days" to create your penants. I hope I get "scared" like this sometime (sooner than later, I hope). Hugs
Wow. Very pretty, patti!
I LOVE LOVE those flowers, let me say brilliant sweetie..
I can see where this sketch would make you put your thinking cap on but you sure came up with a beautiful card using it. I love the way those flowers and butterfly are spotlighted on your CAS card base and the twine is perfect with them.
