Missing Mojo...

Hello!

Okay, so it's been four days since I have posted, and I know that I need to post a card, but my Mojo is seriously hiding from me! If you have seen it, will you please send it on its merry way back to me, where it belongs?

Here is the problem. I went from my old computer that I knew inside and out, to this sleek new FAST computer that I love for e-mailing and surfing the web, but I absolutely hate for photo downloading, etc. It has Windows 7 on it, and I am here to tell you that it is driving me totally crazy. I purchased some digi images on Friday of last week. It is now Monday, and I canNOT figure out how to access the images that I have paid for, and downloaded. They are there, I can open them, but I canNOT print them, I canNOT re-size them, etc.

I am normally a very calm, quiet, peaceful, and rational person, but I am very close to sledghammering and then burning, and then burying this new machine. If anyone has any help for me, please feel free! I am totally at the crying point today!

My email address is: mamagilliam@gmail.com

Feel free to send help! (And my missing Mojo if you see it out there someplace)

Hope that all of you are having a good week!

Hugs,
Patti J.

Food for thought: Agreement in all things means that at least one of us is not paying full attention to the proceedings!

Open word program and then insert them into the document. Then you can re-size them easily and print.
I bet it works lol

My new laptop has Windows 7 too Patti, so I understand your frustration....lol Mine hasn't got my beloved Publisher on and I am lost without that. I do a lot on Publisher, but can't afford to buy it for a long time yet :(
Looked everywhere for your Mojo but not around here.. have you looked in the Chocolate drawer, I can usually find mine in there :))

Can't help you with your computer woes (I am so NOT computer savvy) but as far as our Mojo ... try a challenge like Mojo Monday to get a bump-start.

Once you get used to Windows 7, you will wonder why you didn't get it sooner. If you need help, just give me a call and perhaps I can walk you through it. We might even find you mojo while we are out and about! =)

Oh Patti...I know your frustration. I too had the same difficulties when I got my new computer. A friend helped me reorganize it so I could find things. My frustration was that I could not find so many programs or downloads...everything was hidden. It is much easier now..I have Microsoft Digital images for digis and photo editing. I love it!

Take care my friend. Keep your chin up...you will figure it out. If I can help you, let me know.

hugs,
Chris

I wish i could help you, i don't have window 7 but Vista, so not much luck there.
I hope you can fix it and come back to us with a lovely card.

Okay I have to tell you I did this same thing a year ago and my whole family thought I was just being the "B" word. I am still not thrilled about this Windows 7, and I beg my old blown up machine to come back to me. I cried for days and my family thought I was loosing it. I tell you, I was a woman on the edge!

Too funny! Our mojos did get up and go-go at the same time! If mine comes home anytime soon I'll tell it to tell yours that it is in a heap of mojo stew if it doesn't get home quick!

Hey! May be a little late, but do you have Word? That is what I use for my digi images. I simply open Word, open the digi file, drag the digi into the open Word document and then resize and print from the Word document. Don't have Window's 7 but Word works the same way in any version of Windows. Hope that helped. Best, Curt
