My one and only....

...Inky Impressions stamp, has been inked up once again! This week, the challenge was a color challenge, using these colors:

I followed Beate's sketch, for her sketch challenge... see below!

My Time to Craft challenge is to use scallops!

So, above is the finished card.
The Ink that I sponged with, the ribbon, and the CS are all SU's Bermuda Bay.
The sentiment stamp is Stampendous.
Shapes are all Nesties...
I used some of my non-Kooh-I-Noor pencils, and I don't at all like the coloring.
Everything bled together.
Sigh...even my SU Ink didn't sponge like it usually does. Seemed al 'globby' or something.
Oh well, it's only Wednesday, and I actually finished a few challenges!
Wahoo!
Life is good!!!

Hope your Wednesday is going very well.
I'm off now to re-make some hunting clothes! You know, you'd think when you paid $120 for a pair of pants, that they would come in various lengths. Nope...guess they think all hunters are 6'8"!!! Lol... and of course, these pants have zippers up the sides, drawstrings on the bottom, we aren't talking a five minute hemming job here! I actually spent a good deal of time on the phone this a.m. early, attempting to find someone to do the alterations for me. Nada to that too! I think sewing is an art that no one practices anymore!
***************************
Take care, all!

This is so pretty. I'm glad you tried one of Beate's sketches. Good luck on the alterations. I keep thinking I'll take sewing lessons. Also, I am giving you a blog award. I forgot to copy the link to it on my blog. Check out OVER THE TOP...it's for you!

Love the card - the colors are super. Well I don't envy you - hemming a pair of hunting pants. OMG - just tell DH your machine is now only used for "crafts". I don't miss the days of hemming little boys blue jeans - you know buy them long so maybe they can wear them next year!!!

Well, isn't she just the cutest thing! Love the effect you got from your trio of panels and ribbon. Wonderfully creative card.

Adorable card! I don't see any bleeding in the image. I think we're all our own worst critics.

You can usually find a tailor at the drycleaners... at least around here. That hemming job sounds difficult! Maybe they are made for hunters who are hunting giraffes?

Beautiful colors on your card! I like the way they blend together. I don't like hemming either. Every pair of pants Hubby buys needs to be hemmed. I still have one pair left from the last time he went shopping.

I love the card and the coloring is FAB! I like kohinoor even better than prisma. Just can't find them around here.
