Summer Challenge at Technique Junkies

Hello everyone!

We are having a summer challenge on the Technique Junkies Facebook page.  The current theme is Beach, Sea, Ocean, Water, and Lakes. Here's the card that I made for the challenge:

This card uses some fun stamps from the June release, 'Fish Frame', and 'Oceans of Love'. I've also used one of the 'A Colorful Life' Stencils, 'Grunge Dots'.  All coloring is done with Copic Markers. The Grunge Dots were applied with a blending brush, with Memento Teal Zeal Ink.

In case you need some beach-summer stamps, all of the items in the Summer & Beach categories are 20% off through June 30, 2020 by using the coupon code Summer2020 at checkout. In addition, you can always save more by using MY personal discount code!

Hope to see you post a card for our summer challenge!  Be sure to use the tag: #Summer if you enter the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Beach Answer...

Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I wanted to share two cards using one of the fabulous June release stamps, 'Beach Answer'.

For this first card, I stamped 'Beach Answer' on a scrap of white cardstock, with Memento Ink, and Colored the image with Copic Markers.  I set the image aside for later. On a white focal panel, I used a light blue ink, and Ink Blending Brushes, and stenciled 'A Colorful Life Stencil, Grunge Dots'. The image was then stamped onto the stenciled panel, and the panel was mounted onto the card base. The image and sun was fussy cut from the first panel, and adhered onto the stamped image. The last step was to die cut the small frame, and adhere it over the focal scene.

For this card, a 'frame' was die cut from white cardstock, and set aside. The middle of the frame then became the focal panel. The image was stamped onto this panel, and colored using Copic Markers. I attached a wide double sided tape to the top side of the frame, and carefully pressed on a layer of 'Morning Blush' Aurora Flakes'. The frame was then adhered onto the card base, and the panel was mounted inside the frame.

Are you loving this June release? I sure am! These are all stamps I will use often.

Don't forget - You can always save 10% on any order by entering TJ10Patti at checkout.

Now, be sure to head over to the Technique Junkies store and check out the incredible new stamps this month!

Thanks for stopping by,

Happy BeerDay...

Hi everyone - Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Here is the inspiration board that Wendy gave us to work with:

I chose to work with: Masculine, Non-Standard Card Shape, Stitching.

Today, I used these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

Here's my creation:

A bit of glossy accents, and fun flock on the foam, made these mugs look pretty realistic!

Hope this brought you a smile! You'll be seeing a lot from this 'Bottoms Up' collection, as I recently ordered it, and simply 'must' play a bit!  Right???

Now it’s your turn! Create something using the Tic-Tac-Toe board above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!
Lots of things are on sale at Repeat Impressions, so hurry on over and take a peek!!!

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!

Mirror Mirror...

Hello out there!

It's Fri-yay!

I have a fun Technique Junkies card to share with you today using one of the funny June stamp set 'Inside Out: Silence is Golden'.  The image is a stamp from an earlier release, 'The Happy Housewife'. Also used was 'A Colorful Life 6 x 9 Stencil', 'Faded Petals'.

The card is 5 x 7. I don't usually use that size, but I love the way it turned out! To start, the image was stamped on a white panel. I colored the face, legs, & nightgown with Copic Markers. The next step was to carefully stencil around the image using an Ink Blending Brush.

Next, I stamped the image again, onto a piece of polka dot designer paper, and fussy cut the curlers, housecoat, and slippers, and adhered them over top of the original image.

Hope you like these stamps as much as I do!  If you need a funny, but quick card, this is it!
Don't forget - you can still take advantage of the 15% off sale until June 8th, AND you can use my discount code below, as well!

Be sure to check out the Technique Junkies store to see all of the latest releases, and if you shop, please use my discount code to get 10% off of any purchase any time!

Find My Soul...Technique Junkies June 2020 Blog Hop!

Hello!
I have two posts today, so if you are looking the post for 2 Crafty Critter Crazies, scroll around until you find it!

Happy June release day!

We have some awesome new stamps in the Technique Junkies line, and we are eager to share them with you today!

Be sure to check out the hop list below for some sweet inspiration from our Design Team...

All of the June 2020 New Release stamps are 15% off through June 8th! We can all use a little bargain, right? No codes needed, just put them in your shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.

You can also use my discount code on any purchase from Technique Junkies, anytime. You can even use it along with the discount above!

Today, I am showcasing three new stamps, 'Coral Sea Turtle', 'Find my Soul', and 'Bubble Flow'.  I also used 'A Colorful Life' 6" x 9' Stencil, 'Currents', for the background.

I thought it would be fun to create an easel type card, and use the 'Coral Sea Turtle' to hold up the card front.  The image is colored with Copic Markers and a white gel pen.

My next card uses the sweet stamps from 'Oceans of Love'. This set has NINE great stamps - 4 images, and 5 sentiments. I inked up the background, giving a bit of 'rays' coming down from the right top corner. Spritzed some water on the background, and got busy with the Narwhals! These were colored with Copic markers, as were the sea plants, then fussy cut, and attached to the card. A little bit of white gel pen, and a sentiment finished things up nicely. Aren't they just too cute?

Hope these pretty cards brings you some inspiration!
Now, let's Hop!!!

2 Crafty Critter Crazies & Lili of the Valley

Good morning everyone!

I have two posts today, so if you are looking for the Technique Junkies blog hop, scroll around until you find it!

Today, I am sharing another fun creation for 2 Crafty Critter Crazies!
As you know, each creation must include a critter, and you all know how much I love critters!

Since it's the first of the month, there is a brand new challenge at the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge Blog!  We are excited to be sponsored this month by Lili of the Valley.

This image is so sweet!  I chose to work with Summer View, because it made me think of our granddaughter.  I colored the image with Copic Markers. After coloring, I used an Xacto knife to cut the image away from its 'frame', and then re-inserted the image, letting the 'frame' float around it.

Here's my card:

I finished out the card with a couple of die cuts. They were in my already cut 'stash', and I decided they looked pretty good together!

Aren't her critters adorable???  The little dog is looking up at her with such adoration, that the wee bunnies and butterflies were just too much fun to resist!!!

Hope you like it!

Please check out the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies blog to see some great inspiration that our design team is sharing with you. We hope that you will all play along this month - can't wait to see your critter creations!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
