Happy Wednesday!
You know what Wednesday means at Repeat Impressions Stamps!
It’s challenge day at the Repeat Impressions blog, The House that Stamps Built, and we have a new Inspiration Palette Challenge for you. Here is the Inspiration Palette that Wendy gave us this week:
Yummy, right??? Who among you doesn't like a good cold ice cream in the summer? I have a confession to make! After losing 120 pounds, an ice cream is still my one single evening indulgence! I love the Magnum Mini Double Caramel bars - Oh my....is it snack time yet?
Ugh...had to just go with the whole ice cream theme here! The photo inspiration challenges simply fry my poor, old, tired brain, so I go with the easiest solution!
Whatever did we do before glossy accents???
And now it’s your turn!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s challenge, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built! Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!
Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!
Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up a card this week!
Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.
This is sooooooooooooo fun! LOVING the summer treats!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try your guilty indulgence yet - I hear you talk about them but we usually just have scoop ice cream. Love the glaze on your images, and love the "fold" - or half front on your card as well. Have not made one of those in a long time. This was a fun challenge and you have to watch out for those fried brains!!! That will melt the ice cream.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, so realistic and tasty looking, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful fun fold on this card. Like how you also added the glaze on the popsicles, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card and fold, like the glossy accents! Need to try those caramel bars.
ReplyDeleteI love the ice cream treats you added to your card. You sure made them look yummy with the shine on them. I love ice cream as well but each night instead of ice cream I have a couple Dove chocolates. However, I do love the little mini ice cream bars we get from Schwans which are so yummy. I like the dark chocolate ones with vanilla and also the chocolate and peanut butter ones. I will have one of those for a dessert item as it is not that high in calories or carbs since it is so small.
ReplyDeleteThose ice cream bars look good enough to eat! I love ice cream, too, no matter what the season. This is a fun card with the inside panel peeking through at the top.
ReplyDeleteCute! And a fun fold! The glossy accents add such a fun touch!
ReplyDeleteSuch a yummy card and I love the fun fold you included!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed this to a tee!!! Job well done. It doesn't get better than this!
ReplyDeleteYour ice cream treats look so yummyy and the card is such fun. Ice cream is my husbands downfall..........
