A Lap Full of Kittens...

Good morning everyone!

I'm excited today to be be back today, to share a fun creations for 2 Crafty Critter Crazies!  This is a fun group - each creation must include a critter, and you all know how much I love critters!

Since it's the first of July, there is a brand new challenge at the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge Blog!

The sponsor for June is 'A Day for Daisies'.  Their images are so sweet. I couldn't wait to color this one, as it looks like our granddaugher! This card will go in the mail to her today! This image is 'A Lap Full of Kittens'. Unfortunately, like me, her momma is uber-allergic to kitties, so she may have to wait a long time to own one, but she sure loves cuddling with them!

Here's my card:

I printed the image on white cardstock, then used Copic markers and created a hardwood floor, and pretty wall for the little girl to enjoy.  I love adding to an image to create a scene.

Hope you like it!

Please check out the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies blog to see some great inspiration that the design team is sharing with you. We hope that you will all play along this month - can't wait to see your critter creations!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

  4. This is so darling Patti! Our grands have outdoor kitties. It's always so sad when one of them gets hurt or dies. They still keep loving them though. Some of the kids are allergic too, so they have to stay outside.

  6. Awww, it is a sweet image. We had a Mama cat when I was young, and in those days the cat went in and out as it pleased, so we had kittens often. Hard part was always giving them away, but so enjoyed those babies while we had them. Love how you made the wood floor, looks awesome.
