Hello Friends!
It is time for a new monthly challenge at Great Impressions! This month, we are looking for creations with a 'Go Green!' theme:
For my card today, I used Great Impressions E803 A Good Friend, and Great Impressions D477 4 Leaf Clover.
It's been a while since I used the Triple Stamping Technique, so I decided to give it a whirl.
To do this, I cut three white panels that measured 2 x 3 1/4", 3 x 4 1/4", and 4 x 5 1/4".
I placed these three panels together, as shown, with the sizes going from largest on the bottom, to smallest at the top. These were 'stuck' together with removable two-sided tape.
Once together, I stamped the sentiment on the smallest panel, and then stamped the 4 Leaf Clover randomly over all three panels, using green ink.
I took these panels apart, and colored in all of the leaves and flowers.
The next step was to cut an A2 base, and a 4 1/2 x 3 1/4, and a 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 panel from green card stock.
Each of the white panels were centered onto the green panels, and voila!
Hmmm....it needed a bit more, so I stamped the 4 Leaf Clover twice more, colored and fussy cut just the clover, and adhered them with dimensional foam directly over the two corner clovers!
Better, right?
That's all for today!
THANKS for stopping by...
I hope you come and join in the fun with our monthly challenge and that you leave some love with the other gals on the DT for their fabulous creations using products from the Great Impressions store as well!
HUGS and happy stamping!

Haven't done this technique in a while either - so many techniques not enough time. Great "Go Green" card - and love the little splashes of yellow in the card.

ReplyDeleteI need to use this technique again. Haven't done it for ages! Wonderful card with a great sentiment!
ReplyDeleteI have not even heard of this technique so imagine my delight in your giving such great directions and how-tos so I can try it!! Your card is perfectly green and I love the saying - made me think if all the people in my life that I am lucky to call my friends - like YOU!! Thanks for the on going and sweet friendship you share with me - YOU ARE AWESOME and I love this lucky green card of yours!!! Gonna try that technique out soon!!!
ReplyDeletePatti, I love this technique, and for some reason, keep procrastinating on trying to do it. It's just lovely, and I've been dawdling with starting on St. Pat's cards. This is just the motivation I need to get me going I think! It's a beautiful card, very delicate & springlike and yet the bold green solid is just right with the airy flowers. So very pretty. TFS & hope it's a good week coming up.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely Patti! I love the layering!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your green creation. This technique is lovely and that sentiment is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you.
Hugs
