Flowers in many colors...


Happy Friday! Even though I no longer leave home to work, I still look forward to Friday's. Silly, I know!

Today's post features another quick and easy card. Can't believe I've done another CAS card! It's almost one layer.

I began with a piece of white cardstock. Stamped the floral stamp and sentiment (Hero Arts) with Versamark, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then took some various colors of Tim Holtz distress inks and sponged them over the images. Wrapped some ribbon around, tied bow, attached card front to card, then popped up the sentiment. Voila!

    OK rub it in that you don't leave home to work!!!LOL!!! Can't wait to spend some of my Fridays with you!

    Back to the card, Love it and looks like you're getting into some spring cards too. So refreshing after the winter we and others have had.

    Kim called and her island is safe from the Tsunami for now. Just had sirens going off from 10pm to 3am. She said Maui and the Big Island has had some damage. So hard to even imagine what the people living through this are going through.

    Love the color palette - spring is in the air - almost a CAS OLW card but I see that popped up sentiment sitting there. It is hard for both of us to do a one layer without adding just one more thing.

    Oh CAS cards are the hardest for me. I love your quote about having everything. That's so true in crafting too - I love looking through what i have instead of buying new stuff to create with.

    Gorgeous card, Patti! The white embossing is really striking against the multi-colored inks. Such a wonderful Spring feel to this card! I hear you about Fridays -- I think we're conditioned to love them! :-)

    Beautiful colors, Patti! I feel the same way about Fridays, and I've been retired from teaching for almost 4 years now! LOL Hope it always stays like this for us! Life is good!
