Yep, talking about the election.
Some of us are jumping up and down, ecstatic with the results.
Others of us are feeling pretty low and sad at the results.
Thank goodness, we have 4 years before another one!
I guess by now, you've realized that from October to January, will be just catch up, lost and found, etc., for me! When I get back in January, I'll be trying to figure out a way to purge some of my stash. We are both getting to the age where we need less stuff, and both of us have pretty serious health issues, so there's that. Anyway, if any of you know of a good site to sell on, please let me know. So far, it looks like I'd have a tough time recouping postage if I sell on one of the Facebook groups - let me know if you have ideas!
Here we go - today's stash...
The first two cards are made using this super fun set from Unity Stamps. Aren't they fun?
One of my best friends needed 3 cards for siblings that had just lost their mother. The mom always said 'Peace Out'. Mynn Kitchen helped me with the peace out panel - thank you Mynn! The stamping in the background was done with a set I found on the sale rack at Hobby Lobby for $2.49. It was totally perfect for these cards! Rumor has it that the kids enjoyed getting them.
Stampin'Up! products and 2 strips of red and white dotted Washi Tape.
Stampin'Up! products
Stampin'Up! products
I think we did this one at a Card and Cuppa class - so...this has to be Stampin'Up! products (I think...)
That's all I have for today!
Thanks for letting me clear out some photo files - whew....
Enjoy your first weekend post election - I'm planning to B.R.E.A.T.H.E. for the first time in many months!
Hugs,
Patti J.
Hello my friend! I adore those kitty cards so much! They make me giggle! You've got so many beautiful cards here with lots of inspiration! I hear you about purging some of your stash and I honestly need to do the same thing as I have way too much stuff to the point that I will never be able to use it up in my life time! LOL Sending you lots of hugs
ReplyDeleteThat's ALL you have for now? That's an amazing number of fabulous cards! And they're all so inspiring. I think the Peace Out cards were truly special. I'm certain the recipients were touched by this thoughtful reminder of their mom.
ReplyDeleteI, too, am glad the election is over. We've been taking Tai Chi classes, and they're a big help in keeping us calm and strengthening our aging bodies.
All your cards are wonderful! My daughter sold some of mine on Craigs List. Others on her local rummage sale group and she specified that the customer pay the shipping or pick up in person.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection of cards!
