Flip Flops

Hello crafty friends!
I'm here to share a couple of fun cards made with stamps from Technique Junkies' new release!

Raise your hands if you love your flip flops!
Yep, me too!

Well, today's post is all about those flip flops!

I have two cards to share today. Both cards showcase Flip Flops Background', and The Glass Slipper, both from the new June 2024 Technique Junkies release.

For my first card, I used an OLD ink pad - a Kaleidacolor pad.

Do you still have any of those ink pads?

I still own 8, and all are still inky!

Oops, I digressed! I stamped the background with the fun 'old' ink pad, trimmed the image, and matted it on hot pink. I added some tiny bling of different colors. I then stamped the sentiment with black ink, BUT....I stamped again, using the Kaleidacolor ink pad, and giving the sentiment a shadow with pops of color!

Isn't this a fun, happy card?
This was an easy one to create, and I can't wait to drop it in the mail.

Next, I took 4 strips of different colors of cardstock, and stamped the background with black ink. I trimmed the image and adhered it to a white card base. The next step was to add silver Stickles to each flip flop. Once the Stickles dried, the sentiment was stamped in black ink on white cardstock, and popped up with dimensional foam.

Another easy, quick, happy card! Now we just need the rain to go away, and the sun to stay out for a while, right?

Thanks for stopping by! Remember that if you purchase any of the new release by June 8th, they are 15% off!  For any new items purchased after June 8th, or anything not in the new release, feel free to use my code: TJPatti10 to save 10%!

  2. The best part about Summer are those flip flops! I love the way you've used this background in different forms Patti! The little rhinestones in the centers are my favorite too!

  3. Such fun cards! Love the bright, happy colors. I don't have any kaleidoscope ink pads, but I do have one in three different shades of blue. Haven't used it in forever, but you've inspired me to at least check it out and see if it is still inky! If it is, I'll give it a try with a background stamp. Thank you for always inspiring me.
