Hello, friends!
I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing two cards that I made, using a fun new stamp set, Stud Muffins, from the May Release. This set has both images and 3 fun sentiments!
Here's my first card:
The image was colored with Copics and fussy cut.
The 'frame' is a die cut, and the sentiment was stamped, matted, and popped up onto the card front.
I think I'll go back and gloss up his eyeglasses before this one gets mailed - forgot to do that!
And here's card number two:
For this card, the image was stamped onto a white focal panel - face, arms and shoes were colored with Copic markers. I then stamped again onto patterned paper and the shirt and pants were fussy cut and adhered over top of the image. Using an Ink Blending Brush and some Distress Oxide Ink, I stenciled a background, using A Colorful Life Designs Diamond Fade Stencil. The focal panel was adhered to a rust colored card base.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Great job on these cards! The second card gave me a good chuckle with the sentiment. LOL. I like how you cut a plaid designer paper for the shirt. Always thinking outside the box! Have a lovely day--Bethie
ReplyDeleteWonderful masculine card designs and great clothing attire!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome, Patti! I love the 'tude of the first dude. I couldn't believe you had fussy-cut the image. It looks so perfect! Giving his glasses a little gloss will be a great addition, too. The second card is so funny (and so true in lots of cases), but we love both the "stud" and the "muffin" parts, right??
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic and fun cards!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are just too cute Patti!! I love the coloring on the top one and then the way you've paper pieced the second image too! The sentiments are fabulous and the second one really cracks me up! Great masculine cards my friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun cards! I love them both, they made me smile.
