Magnolia Branch

Hello!

Today, I'm sharing a pretty card that I made with a new TJ stamp, Magnolia Branch, from the May release at Technique Junkies.

Here's what I made:

The image and sentiment were stamped with black Memento ink, and the image was colored with alcohol markers. The sentiment is from Four Little Sentiments. Using an Ink Blending Brush, some Distress Oxide Ink, and A Colorful Life Designs Stencil, Damask, I created the background around the flowers. I'm pleased with the way this one turned out!

One Great Dude

Hello, friends!
I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing two cards that I made, using a fun new stamp set, Stud Muffins, from the May Release. This set has both images and 3 fun sentiments!

Here's my first card:

Is this fun, or what?
The image was colored with Copics and fussy cut.
The 'frame' is a die cut, and the sentiment was stamped, matted, and popped up onto the card front.
I think I'll go back and gloss up his eyeglasses before this one gets mailed - forgot to do that!

And here's card number two:

For this card, the image was stamped onto a white focal panel - face, arms and shoes were colored with Copic markers. I then stamped again onto patterned paper and the shirt and pants were fussy cut and adhered over top of the image. Using an Ink Blending Brush and some Distress Oxide Ink, I stenciled a background, using A Colorful Life Designs Diamond Fade Stencil. The focal panel was adhered to a rust colored card base.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sunflowers with Text

Hello!

Today, I'm sharing a pretty card that I made with a new TJ stamp, Sunflowers with Text, from the May release at Technique Junkies.

Here's what I made:

This card was super easy to create. I thought of Ukraine colors as soon as I saw the stamp, so that's what I used. The image was stamped onto a white panel and colored with Copic markers. Some Glossy Accents was added to the flower centers, and then I made a few blue and green 'splatters'  I deliberately left the sentiment off of this one, as I'm not sure who will be getting it, or what occasion it will be for.

Here's a view of the centers with Glossy Accents, and some 'splatters' here and there.

Isn't this nice?  This sentiment wouldn't be limited to Father's Day...it would work anytime!  The image, Hillside Pines, and the sentiment, Everyone Wishes, were stamped with green Distress Oxide Ink, onto a white cardstock panel. The white panel was adhered to a green card base.

Boom...done!
Doesn't get much easier than this! Someone will be very happy to find this in his mailbox!

Purrfect Confetti!

Hello there!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing two fun cards that I made, using some great new stamps, Cat Lady, You're Purrfect, and Beautiful Boho from the May Release, and one older sentiment, Throw Kindness.

Here's my first card:

Isn't this fun? The image and sentiment were stamped with black ink, and colored with alcohol markers. The stripes between the image and sentiment are actually narrow washi tape strips, in blue, green, magenta, purple, and gold. Wish they'd photo'd better! A bit of trim and bling, along with glossy accents on the eyeglasses, and this was finished!

Here's my second card:

I'm loving this Boho background stamp, and thought it would be fun to stamp in a bright, fun color. Pink jumped out at me, so pink, it was! The image was stamped onto white cardstock, and adhered to a pink card base. The sentiment was stamped, colored, and a clear glitter pen was applied over top of the confetti and sentiment. The sentiment was matted with pink cardstock, and adhered to the card front using dimensional foam pieces.

Thanks for stopping by today!

A little Lawn Fawn fun!

 Hello, and Happy Wednesday!

Thought I'd share with you a fun card that I made a couple of weeks ago, using a fun new platform die set, and some stamps from Lawn Fawn.  This was WAY too much fun!

A stamping friend, Ruth Petsel, was selling some card kits, and 4 of us decided to purchase one and get together to create our cards. This card was one in the kit, and was cuteness overload! SO stinkin' cute, that I got on-line that day and ordered the dies from Lawn Fawn!

Here's my card - I've included several views so you can see the dimension.

This view shows that it folds flat to fit into a 5 x 7 envelope! (If I'd used shorter images, an A2 would have worked).

Another side view - pretty fun, right?

Thanks for stopping by!

Delicate Bouquet

Hello!

Today, I'm sharing a pretty card that I made with a new TJ stamp, Delicate Bouquet, from the May release at Technique Junkies.

Here's what I made:

The image and sentiment were stamped with black ink, and the image was colored with alcohol markers. (The sentiment is from Four LIttle Sentiments) Next, I used an 'outside the box' technique to die cut the image from white cardstock, then matted with a pretty orchid mat.  Once complete, the focal piece was adhered to a green card base, using dimensional foam squares.

Because I'm the Dad

Hello crafty friends!

It's May release day at Technique Junkies... Things are blooming here, and it's warming up a bit. The spring rains are here too - we've already been mowing!

We have awesome new stamps for you, just in time for Father's Day, and all of them are 15% off through May 8th! No codes are needed, just put them in your shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.

Here's the May Release, and you can get it as a bundle! Check it out:

Isn't this an amazing release???

Here's what I made to share today:

This card uses a fun new background stamp, Because I'm Your Dad. Okay, admit it - you have heard many, if not all of these sayings from your parents, and/or you've said them to your own kids! I had to laugh out loud when I read them all - too familiar and funny!

To create this card, I stamped the entire panel with Catherine Pooler's Midnight Archival Ink. Then, I stamped again with Versamark Ink, on black cardstock, and heat embossed with white powder. I trimmed the Because I'm your DAD sentiment, and adhered it to the panel with a foam strip. The panel was then adhered to a black card base. Pretty fun, right???

Next up is another fun card. The Because I'm Your Dad background was stamped with black ink onto a white card base. The sweet image, Father and Daughter, and a fun older sentiment, ATM were stamped in black onto a scrap of white cardstock.  Then I used Modern Circles Set of 9, another older stamp set, and stamped various circles with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed in gold. This panel was matted with blue cardstock, and adhered to the card base using dimensional foam pieces.

This shows the shine of the gold....looks a little bit like money, right?

Finally, here's a serious card. I've used the Father and Daughter stamp and an older sentiment, Lifelong Friends. These were stamped with black ink onto a white panel. Using A Colorful Life Designs Falling Stars Stencil, and light blue ink, I stenciled the white background. Isn't this the best 'dad' sentiment? It could be used for Father's Day, New daddy, Birthday, Just because.... The white panel was then randomly cut in half, and adhered to a deep blue card base.

I know that you have that one special dad that would be thrilled to receive any one of these 3 cards!

I hope you like this great new release, and can't wait for you to see the awesome inspiration
from our Design Team!
