Hello friends!
I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing two cards that I made, using some great new stamps, In the Meadow, Inside Out: Size Matters, and Born to Garden, from the April Release.
Here's my first card:
For this card, I used the Cloud Edger Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, to get a soft, whispy skyline on a panel of white cardstock. Then I finished the panel by stamping In the Meadow with a pretty green ink.
I couldn't resist using the 2nd half of the sentiment for the card inside. You all know a
friend or family member who simply canNOT pass up a yard sale or auction! This
stamp would be perfect for them!
And here's card number two:
I cut a panel of green checked paper for the focal panel. I used the pattern on the back side to create the small strip of flowers at the bottom of the panel. A strip of narrow purple Washi Tape held the two panels together on the front. These were adhered to the card base, prior to stamping Born to Garden on the top section with Catherine Pooler's Over Coffee ink pad.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Beautiful card designs Patti!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely gorgeous Patti! Love how the floral image is stamped across the entire width of the card! The inside with the sentiment is too funny! They are both very pretty creations my friend! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThose are both really great cards, Patti. I was quite surprised to read the inside of the first card - not what I was expecting! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour first card is so fun! Love that inside sentiment. I have a sister who loves auction sales. She's also good at finding really great deals at them. The second card, with its strip of flowers, reminds me of warm summer days to come. I can hardly wait for summer to arrive. I'm tired of the cold, rainy days we've been having lately.
ReplyDeleteA twofer!! Love the simplicity of the first card, what a wonderful scene you created. I have this sentiment stamp and have never used it, and I burst out laughing outloud (my hubs thinks I'm crazy) when I saw the inside sentiment, how fun! Very unique and creative as always,Patti.
