Hi there!
I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing a pretty card using some stamps from the January release.
Pat came out with two coordinating items this month, and I think I will reach for them over and over. 'Lavender Frame' and 'Lavender Friendship Sentiments, set of 4' are beautiful to work with. The sentiments are lovely when used as stand alone stamps on a pretty background, or when used with the 'Lavender Frame'.
Here's what I made:
I'll be sharing 3 more cards using these stamps this month, and 3 different looks for them. For this card, I simply stamped the frame and sentiment in brown ink, colored with copic markers, and 'drew' a blue frame using a marker around the four edges of the panel, prior to adhering to a dark blue card base.
Check back on the 22nd - I'll have card #2 to share!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Really pretty frame! Love the Vintage feel of it especially for a friendship theme! Really fun idea to add the marker lines around the edges and never think to do that! Thanks for the inspiration friend!
ReplyDeleteWonderful sentiment and card, thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Your card sings to me with the addition of the blue.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Patti. Love your blue "frame," too. It sets off the image nicely.
ReplyDeleteOh Patti, your card is so beautiful. Love the sentiment, it's so true. Love the soft colours you used and the navy blue mat. It really makes the image pop. Beautifully done, my friend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
