Accept What Is...

Hi Friends!

I have two very clean and simple cards to share today, using a beautiful new release stamp from Technique Junkies, #S928 Accept What Is. These were so easy to create, and what a lovely message. We all need to remember this one from time to time. I'm thinking of framing one of these for my CRoffice (crap craft room/office).

Here are my cards:

For this card, I colored the focal panel with Copic markers, and then fussy cut around the flowers. I felt it needed something, so I added a black panel behind the focal panel. Hmmm...it STILL needed something, so out came my A Colorful Life Damask Stencil, Distress Oxide Ink, and Ink Blending Brush, and voila! Super easy, and oh, so pretty!

So....It doesn't get any easher that this!  The stamping was done on a piece of patterned paper, fussy cut around the flowers, and adhered to black cardstock. It needed something more, so I cut two narrow strips of the patterned paper and adhered that at top and bottom of card.

I'm not sure I can pick a favorite from these two! Both turned out nicely, and both were very speedy cards to create.

So glad you stopped by today!

Now, be sure to head over to the Technique Junkies store and check out the incredible new release!

Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.

  3. Such a versatile stamp, as you show us today. Outstanding cards, Patti. Stamping just the image without colouring works well. This stamp seems to be quite the hit with the team. Thanks for showing us two more versions. Hugs. Bethie

  4. These are lovely Patti! Thanks for explaining you paper pieced your flowers, I was studying them wondering how you managed to get such a straight line and cut round your flowers at the same time LOL ;)
