Hanging Stars part 2

 Hello my creative friends!

I have two cards to share today, using the #SD1077 'Hanging Stars' stamp. This stamp is fun! Earlier this month, HERE, I used a simple heat embossing technique using these stamps. Today, I'm creating in Technicolor!

Here is my first card:

This card was created on watercolor paper. I used some water color markers, and colored both the stars, and the new release #SDX184 'Adulting is Overrated'.  These were then spritzed with water before stamping. Of course, I had to stamp the sentiment three times in three colors. Isn't this fun? Can't wait to send it to just the right someone!

And here's the second card:

Again, this was so easy. My white focal panel was cut, and place into my stamp positioner. The stars were inked up with a Kaleidacolor ink pad (yep, I still have lots of them!).  I lifted the lid, flipped the panel around, and inked/stamped again.  Then, I stamped a sentiment from one of my favorite sets #SS02b 'Simple Sentiments Set 2, Style B', stamping with the Kaleidacolor Ink, first in the center, then to the left and right of center sentiment. Ta-Da! Ta-Done!

Which one is YOUR favorite?  I'm partial to the 2nd one!

I have so enjoyed working with this May release!

So glad you stopped by today!

  4. These are both such fun cards, but I, too, am partial to the second one. I love the colors of the stars. I love seeing your creativity shine through when you use the same stamp in diffeent ways or for very different occasions. Thanks for all the inspiration you share.
