Here's what I made:
This card uses:
SS129 To Ride a Horse (set of 5)
A Colorful Life Stencils 'Messy Diamond Grid' and 'Cloud Edger'
Ink Blending Brushes
For the above card, the horse was stamped 3 times onto white cardstock, using a 'stamping off' technique, and moving the stamp a little bit each time. This hopefully, gave the appearance of
running horse(s). Using some Ink Blending Brushes, and the Messy Diamond Grid Stencil, and
brown distress oxide ink, I stenciled around the images. Next, I used some blue Distress Oxide
Ink and the Cloud Edger Stencil, to create some clouds over the diamond grid. The sentiment
was stamped, a piece of burlap trim added to the bottom of the card, and some faux stitches
drawn on. The panel was adhered to a panel of woodgrain, then to a gray/brown card base.
This card uses:
Patterned paper
Die cuts
To create the above card, the image and sentiment were stamped onto a panel of patterned
wood-grained paper. The heart border was die cut first from darker woodgrain paper, then from
gold cardstock. The gold hearts were placed into the woodgrain openings, and the panel was
adhered to a card base.
This card uses:
Patterned Paper
Die cut
The sentiment was stamped in brown ink, and matted in green. A green card base was
covered with two pieces of patterned paper, and the sentiment was popped up on the focal
panels. A brown heart from the precious card was adhered for balance. Easy!
I hope you like this beautiful new release! Great stuff is yet to come this month!

Patti, your horse cards are very captivating. I couldn't pick a favourite because they are all so very lovely. Very unique idea to use the stamp off technique.
ReplyDeleteLove the horse cards!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fresh new cards - I do like the horses - especially the one you used with the motion images. Great job on the new release, looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteI love these, Patti! Both backgrounds are so effective with their respective images! Nicely conceived and beautifully executed!

These horse card designs are fantastic! I love each and every one of them.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely succeeding in creating an image of horses in motion. Your cards are all wonderful but I think the first one is really special. I have some horse lovers in my extended family, and I know they would love receiving a card like that.
