Hi there, crafty friends!
It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps challenge at The House that Stamps Built. Wendy has challenged us to use a theme of 'Monochromatic' this week.
I stamped the flowers with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I used an ink blending brush to cover the panel. The last step was to use a finger dauber, and daub on some purple in the center of each flower, and add the sentiment. Easy card, and is way prettier in real life. I like the way it turned out!
This was a fun challenge, and I hope you'll all join in! We all need Get Well cards in our stash!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built! Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!
Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!
Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up a card this week!
Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.
Purple and flowers - what a great combination - we had 2 purples and 2 greens this challenge. Love the saying you choose to go with this pretty card.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous work, Patti. I love the purple very much.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, I like how you started dark in the center of your flowers and faded out, and lovely sentiment-going on my wish list!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty monochromatic card, Patti - well-done!
ReplyDeleteThis is so soft and beautiful with the light colors. It reminds me of a dress I had as a little girl which had a pattern similar to that. You made a wonderful design.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Patti! I love the lavender(one of my favorite colors) and the beautiful shading of the background. Very nicely crafted, indeed!
