Feel the Love at The House that Stamps Built...

 Hi there, crafty friends!

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps challenge at The House that Stamps Built. Wendy, owner of Repeat Impressions' challenged us to create a 'LOVE' themed card this week.  What a fitting challenge for the 10th of February!

Rather than a Valentine card, I changed things up a bit, and just made a 'Love' card. I went for clean and simple. A white panel was dry embossed, and then an Ink Blending Brush was used to brush on some yellow Distress Oxide Ink. Then I took a yellow sparkle pen, and colored every other sun ray. The last step was to stamp my sentiment, mat it, and ta-da!!!

Here's what I made using this Repeat Impressions Stamp:

Hope you like it!

This was a fun challenge, and I hope you'll all join in!

We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

  3. Ohh ahhh those pretty sun rays are gorgeous. Before I read your post, I thought you used yellow paper. Great job on the ink blending. The sentiment is so true.
