Hi everyone!
It's my turn to once again share a Pick of the Week at The House that Stamps Built. The Repeat Impressions Stamps that I picked to showcase are:
This is not a fancy card - it was made to share a tip with you! If you've never checked out the Cancer category at the Repeat Impressions Store, please do - there are some very nice stamps in there!
This post is a bit different 'for me'. I usually have to warn you about photo overload, but this post? Only two photos! I'm sharing a tip that I use on nearly every card I make. I have kept this hanging above my work area for as long as I've been stamping. It's a cheat sheet for layering measurments. This has saved me SO much time over the years!
Hope you like this - Give it a try!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
Beautiful card Patti, my cousins are breast cancer survivors.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your cheat sheet, I'm printing it out now, this will be very useful in my almost finished organized crafty room.
Hugs, Lori m
I just printed the cheat sheet out and will hang it over my desk - "somewhere". Somewhere so that I can see it easily. Love the pinks and the breast cancer ribbon. Great job on this weeks POTW.
ReplyDeleteThe layers really make an impact on your design here Patti! I love that especially with the theme you've done it for too! This is such a clever idea for a "cheat sheet" and I will need to remember that as I'm always having to stop and measure it out either in my head or taking it to the cutter to see what fits. LOL! Thank you! HUGS
ReplyDeleteWonderful card design and a great reminder of Breast Cancer awareness. I hope I can one day say I am a survivor too!
ReplyDeleteHi Patti, Thanks for your visit, and good wishes. What an unusual & striking card for such a worthwhile cause. Also thanks for sharing your cheat sheet. The pink grabs your eye, and I would never have thought of using the layers as the focal design, but it certainly is stunning with the ribbon center. TFS & many wishes to you and your family for a healthy & Happy New Year. Hugs. Mary H.
ReplyDeleteGreat card and so inspiring. Thanks for the cheat sheet. That is so helpful. Even though I have dies that cut layers, I often find myself cutting them on my paper trimmer then I have to think what size I want to cut. This will sure help.
ReplyDeleteI'm very intrigued by your card. How pretty with all the layering. Very nice stamped ribbon too.
ReplyDeleteAll those layers are really impressive! Thanks so much for the cheat sheet so that we all can make something similar with ease. You're a rock star, Patti!
