Wicked Halloween

 Hi there!

I'm up on the Technique Junkies Design blog today, and I'd like to share a fun (easy!) card with you. This was made using a fun Halloween sentiment from the September release, 'Wicked Halloween'.

I don't know about you, but I love a card that comes together in mere minutes, but looks like it took all day - this was one of those kinds of cards!  I looked at this sentiment, and wasn't quite sure how to make it work. I glanced over at my box of TJ stamps, and there was the burst Background stamp. Aha, I said to myself!

I stamped the Burst Background onto a white panel, using black Versamark ink. On a white scrap, I stamped Wicked Halloween, also using black Versamark for a good crisp look. Using some Halloween colors and my Ink Blending Brushes, I blended over the background. I stenciled over the top of the sentiment, and used the same colors and Ink Blending Brushes, I blended over the sentiment panel. Matted and popped up the sentiment, matted the focal panel and adhered to card base - done!

This September release has been pretty awesome! Can't wait to share October with you!

BTW: I absolutely love my Xyron glue runner. I have the 1/2" and 1/4" refill cartridges. I purchased two runners so that I don't have to change out the cartridges. Ad Tech also has a small tape runner to which I am hopelessly addicted. They are economical. I purchased the pack of four and then I found the refills (box of 11) on Amazon. Both of these products, the Xyron and Ad Tech have given me permanent hold on my projects and the runners themselves have never failed to operate properly!
