It's Recycle Day at The House that Stamps Built!

 Hi there, crafty friends!

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps Designer's Choice challenge at The House that Stamps Built. Donna is our hostess this month. She has challenged the team to 'use a recycled item' on our cards this week!

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

10301 H Patti's Flower Solid (Yep, I designed this one!)

Whew! This challenge had me stumped! I finally thought, DUH! How about some bubble wrap? So, I inked it up with some pretty green and purple, and voila!

This was a fun challenge, and I hope you'll all join in! Get those Repeat Impressions' stamps out, and get started on your 'Recycled Item' cards!!!

We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s DCC theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Check out my sidebar - grab the code to save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!

Joy     Laurie     Heather   Shirley     Donna

I'll be entering this card into the following challenges:

Use Your Stuff - Flowers and/or Butterflies
Little Red Wagon - Challenge #548 Flowers
Krafty Chicks Challenge - #505 Anything Goes
Stamplorations - Spring Fling
CAS on Friday - #179 Use your favorite flower stamp

Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up a card this week!

Thanks for stopping by,

  6. When I first looked at your card, I thought that was some pretty DSP in the background. I was surprised to learn you stamped it yourself with bubble wrap. Such a great idea. Your flower is really pretty, too. Great card!

  9. Nice work with the bubble wrap. It's so unique for the challenge. Normally, one would use an embellishment or something. You took this challenge to the next level!

  10. Your struggles were well worth it, the card turned out lovely. Love the two colors you chose too. Funny how we forget some of the techniques we used long ago, I love this one.
