Pick of the Week...by me!

Hi everyone!
It's my turn to share a Pick of the Week at The House that Stamps BuiltThe Repeat Impressions Stampthat I picked to showcase are:

Here's what I made:

Let's get started!

You need 2 white cardstock pieces, cut to size for card front. Choose a die, and cut out the inside section of one piece. Stack your two pieces of cardstock together, and adhere the outside of the top piece to your work space with some post it notes.

Remove the center section, grab some inks, and begin blending some colors on. I put a post it about 2/3 of the way up on my piece, and blended with Antique Linen and Memento Summer Sky.

Now, remove the post it from the top, and replace it at the bottom. Begin ink blending again. My colors for the top were Stampin' Up Pool Party, and Memento Summer Sky.

Remove all post it notes. Can you sort of see the definition between the 'water' and 'skyline'?

Now, remove the outside piece and see the magic! You've actually been blending on the piece that will be your finished card front.

Stamp your sentiment and palm trees...I used Versamark Brown, and colored the trees with colored pencils. Adhere your card front to card base. Voila - a beautiful 10 minute card!

For this week only (August 10-August 16, 2020), get 20% off the two stamps used in my creation above when you use the coupon code POTW81020.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
