Good morning everyone!
Today, I am sharing another fun creation for 2 Crafty Critter Crazies!
As you know, each creation must include a critter, and you all know how much I love critters!
Since it's the first of the month, there is a brand new challenge at the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge Blog! We are excited to be sponsored this month by our very own Donna Ellis!
Donna created a gorgeous set for us, "Great Horned Owl". It has black and white, as well as several pre-colored images. It also has sentiments - you're going to love it! This set will be the challenge prize, as well!
Donna's images are beautiful! I couldn't wait to create with a this set. I have trouble with masculine cards, and this one rocked my world! Masculine creations made easy peasy!!!
Here's my card:
Isn't he the most majestic critter ever??? And folks, he is pre-colored! I printed him on a light Kraft cardstock, and used a cute border die around him.
Hope you like it!
Please check out the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies blog to see some great inspiration that the design team is sharing with you. We hope that you will all play along this month - can't wait to see your critter creations!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

Patti, your creation is brilliantly done with Donna's owl image! I love the neutral color palette as well as the way you've framed him out with the scallop border! This does make for a wonderful masculine style card! Nicely done my friend! HUGS
ReplyDeleteOh my - what a great image - and perfect for masculine. You did rock this one dear friend. Can't believe it is precolored - as I would have had to look horned owl up to see the colors.
ReplyDeletegoing to go check out the other blogs.
Love, love, LOVE the out-of-the-box cutting technique you used, Patti, and your CAS design choice showcases the owl magnificently. Photographing your card on the block of wood with the back still on it was brilliant! I'm so glad you're part of our team. :-D
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful masculine card Patti! I love the die cuts you used to make the owl stand out! Really lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I love owls--especially pink ones 😘
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the nicest stamped owls I have seen. Its so nicely coloured.
Patti, I have the hardest time with masculine cards, which sucks for me since my whole family is guys!!! Thankfully my best friend benefits from all the times I *need* to make a flower or rainbow card! I love the CAS design of this card and Donna's images were just perfect for this kind of layout. The image stands on its own without needing accessory images, and the sentiments are large enough to balance the image. I know this set will get a lot of use this year as I work through all the male birthdays of the year!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card! That owl definitely has attitude. I think this is a perfect masculine card.
