Wow!
A lot has happened since I last posted.
We bought a home in town, after being in our beautiful country home for 32 years. This brought mountains of paperwork, as you can imagine.
Then, I spent some time in the hospital with a strange form of pneumonia. I'm still very weak. If I get through one small task, I have to take a nap.
We will close on the new home on the 12th. The work begins on the new home, getting it ready to move into. Once that's done, clean up and repairs begin on our country home.
Anyway, I will probably be popping in and out from time to time, but first priority for me is getting my health back. I was apparently a very sick gal.
I will, of course try to keep up with my Scor-Pal requirements after June!
Time for a nap!
Hugs to you all,
Patti J.
Oh no, Patti!! So sorry to hear you were so sick:( Glad you are doing somewhat better. Safe travels - stay rested. Good luck with your new home. I find that very exciting!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you were ill, Patti! Best wishes for a complete recovery! Also, congrats on the new home. How exciting! I have lived in 10 different homes since I graduated from college! Every move was an adventure.
ReplyDeleteOh Patti, I'm so happy you are starting to feel a bit better and out of the hospital now! You have so much going on and then to top it off this darn thing comes along! Hoping that you've received my card by now and I wish you safe travels to see your son! Have a wonderful time, congrats to him and best wishes and hugs to you my friend! YOU WILL BE MISSED HERE!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you have been sick! I hope you are 100% better soon!!! Congrats to your son! What an accomplishment!!! And congrats on the new home too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself! Safe trip and best wishes on your new home. Hope you will have a nice craft space :)
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you were so ill and I hope you don't overdo it with all the traveling and moving you are doing. You may have to have others help a lot as your health is a first priority. Congratulations to your son too.
ReplyDeleteAwww Patti, I'm sorry to hear that you've not been too well. Bad timing too, sounds like you're going to be super busy too with your trip and then the move. Moving house is stressful at the best of times, so try to take it easy and look after yourself. You'll find it strange not living in the country, but maybe you're closer to the craft store ;)

Patti, you are deeply in my prayers for a speedy recovery. I've had pneumonia and it isn't fun. My 29 year old was hospitalized with it a couple of months ago and ended up with abnormal heart enzymes and being hooked up to a monitor for six days. He developed sepsis. Pneumonia is a scary thing. That said, I understand how serious pneumonia is and wish you the best on your recovery.
ReplyDeleteWow, a move and a retirement. Lots on your plate. I'd love if you could add a photo of each house. I love the personalization of photos.
Oh no, sounds like you were trying to do too much. Hope you are soon feeling so much better, you have places to go and people to see. Seriously, take care of you and get through this illness and return to good health first. Sorry you had to go through this just when you were making all these new plans. Congrats to your son and thank him for his service.

I'm so sorry to read that you were seriously ill, Patti. It does sound like something that will take months to recover from and dealing with a huge house move and all the work that involves is the last thing you need at the moment. Just try to take it very easy! What doesn't get done today can wait until tomorrow. Say it over and over and over!! Huge hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteOh, Patti... praying for healing! May the Lord strengthen you so you can do what needs to be done with the move and repairs! That's a big task!
ReplyDeleteTake care and make yourself the first priority which I know it isn't easy to do as I'm having to do it too! We got to get healthy my stamping buddy! Love and get well wishes being sent to you! :)
