Hello!
I hope you are enjoying your week - Happy
Wednesday!
It’s challenge day at The House that Stamps Built, and we have a great Designer’s Choice Challenge for you. RI Rock Star, Heather, is hosting and has a wonderful theme
challenge for us. Please join in our challenge, and create something using the
theme:
"Happy Birthday".
For this card, I scored some random lines, and swiped an ink pad over my front panel.
Then I colored in some of the lines and added a bow. The inside gifts were colored
with copics. Easy!!!
And now it’s your turn!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus
on the DCC Birthday theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built! Remember, your creation
does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include
our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added
bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing
for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will
win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!
Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have
created!
Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up a card this week!
Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.
Soooooooo fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this little present - what a practical stamp to have in your collection and it makes a perfect birthday card, especially a belated one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Some of the best backgrounds are made with swiped ink pads.
ReplyDeleteLove your swiped stripes (say that ten times fast--LOL). I've never seen that done before and I really like it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool background! I never would have guessed how you made it. Great color combo, too.
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness, Patti, I feel like I'm having one of those weeks :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your card - perfect to let someone know you didn't forget about them!
Hugs,
Lena
This is a great card! I'm usually late with BD cards - so I really need this stamps!
ReplyDeleteJust a fabulous birthday card, my friend. I love the idea of the embossed lines and then the inking for color....I never think to do that. You're always inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute Patti. I love the two different ways you used the gifts. I just love them on the circles. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteCute card, those belated birthday cards sure come in handy!
