Hip Hip Hooray!

Good morning, and Happy Friday!

It was fun creating with some new Crafter's Companion products - thought
I'd share with you today.

Meet Verity Rose - isn't she a sweetie?  She just HAD to get all dolled up for the 4th of July!
We are having a bit of company in, and it will be fun to put her in charge of the
red, white, and blue candies.

Here's what I made:

Her hat has some Glossy Accents on the red ribbon, trim work, and 'medallion'.
If you enlarge the photo, I hope you can see the beautiful sparkle that the
Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen gave her!

To make this fun little box, I started with a 5 3/4" square, and scored at 1" on
all four sides.  I cut in and adhered some tabs, and voila!  There are two
layers of the fancy frame, a red layer, and behind it, slightly offset, is a white layer.
These layers just slid down over the back flap of the box perfectly!

  4. Patti, you rocked this project. The Red, White and Blue theme is awesome. And that image is just too cute for words. I love how the image stands on it's own with all the colouring--very effective.
