Good morning everyone!
Happy Monday!
Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring The Shabby Tea Room Challenge.
The challenge is 'thankful', and here is the inspirational photo they
provided us to work with:
As I was looking at my Great Impressions stamps, I realized that I'd never inked up the image I used today, and decided it was perfect for my project!
Here's what I made, using:
G472 Sunflower Background
Using a very light ink, I inked the sunflower stamp all over my Kraft card front.
Then, using a darker brown ink, I stamped the sentiment on the card front, and the image three times on a Kraft focal panel. The panel was trimmed out with some burlap and twine, and adhered to the card front with foam squares.
We hope you will create something to link up at The Shabby Tea Room's Challenge - you could be the winner of some Great Impressions Stamps!
Thanks for stopping by today...
Hugs and smiles to you all,
Patti J.
LOVE this, Patti! The neutrals are so pretty--and I adore this stamp! Sending HUGS! :) Mynn xx
ReplyDeleteAwesome card - love that you made your own bg with the lighter ink. You seem to think of things that just slip my mind sometimes - well ok often.

Patti this is such an awesome looking card! Love the stamp and the addition of some burlap to your card!
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe of this card and my jaw is on the ground. The link to the sunflowers isn't working so I "searched" for it because I wanted to see what you started out with. The light and the dark are just perfect Patti. Beautiful all around. Have a good week ahead. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful Autumn card Patti. The image is so pretty and I love the scalloped burlap edge!

Great job on a neutral card! Sometimes that is so hard to do.
