Good morning!
Happy Tuesday to you all.
I'm pleased to be sharing a new creation for Crafter's Companion today!
I was a bit more at ease with my watercolors this time - the Spectrum Aqua Markers make it pretty easy! I hope the next time to be able to color without heat embossing. I love the softer look, and am excited to give it a try.
Today, I've used these Crafter's Companion products:
Spectrum Aqua Markers - Skin: Peach, Spice, Scarlet
Shirt: Moss
Hair: Burgandy, Tan
Overalls and Glove: Navy
Skateboard: Chocolate, Charcoal
Cat: Slate, Spice
Gift & Ribbon: Gold, Yellow
Shoes: Charcoal
I've fallen in love with Crafter's Companion stamps! There is such a huge variety - cute stamps, floral stamps, architectural, scenic....you name it! Hope you'll pop over and do some on-line
shopping.
I've made a cute slider card, and have included a series of photos that show
the slider in action.
As I said last week, this Shimmering Cardstock cuts and scores like butter. Look
at all of the fun scored lines on my card panel, made with The Ultimate Tool, of course!
Easy peasy to do, too! And just look at the pretty shimmer on this cardstock!
Coloring the image was fun. I stamped the image and heat embossed it, to help me keep my coloring in the lines. Then I just scribbled on an acrylic block, and picked up color with a water brush.
Hope that you like this fun card!
I'll be back next week with another fun creation for Crafter's Companion.
I'll be sharing one of their gorgeous dies with you!
Thanks for stopping by!
Patti J.
Such a cute image and I love how it is a movable type card too! I ordered some of the shimmery card stock and waiting it's arrival.

Thanks for the tutorial. I've never attempted one of these slider cards. Your w/coloring is great (and I usually heat emboss first...w/c is not my finest hour with any type of w/c media & I've not gotten any of the SN aquas as yet. I am finding that the Zig brush markers are working a bit better for me. This is a darling image, and love that subtle emboss pattern at the top. TFS & Have a great week. Hope you have a little someone special earmarked for this cutie.
ReplyDeleteThis is just so cute! Love the movable image and how you colored it with the water brush.
