It's another weekend - happy Saturday, everyone!
With Valentine's Day coming up soon, I thought it would be fun to showcase some of the Great Impressions 'Heart' stamps.
Today's card uses 'The Two of Us - C395, and 'Love Chicks' - B189.
How'd I do this?
1. Draw pencil lines lightly across the 5" x 5" piece of cardstock.
2. Lightly pencil around the red scalloped circle mat, for placement of sentiments.
3. Using Stamp-a-ma-jig, stamp the sentiment on each line.
4. Color the image, and add a dash of color to each sentiment's 'heart'.
5. Adhere the image to the red scalloped circle mat.
6. Mat the focal panel with black and red, and adhere to the 5.5" x 5.5" card base
7. Adhere the image to card front, using dimensional foam.
Easy, peasy! Give it a try! We'd love to see which stamps you use for
'whatever this technique is'!!!
Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be back next Saturday to share
another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions Store! Be sure to
check out the Great Impressions blog for loads of inspiration! There's still time
to enter the monthly challenge 'Snow Friends', HERE - can't wait to see your creations!
Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute card Patti. Love the sweet chicks and the way you stamped the words... in a ray... so clever! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove it - and I think I have this stamp with the two love birdies - and loved your easy to follow instructions - who ever invented the stamp-a-mi-jig is a genius!!! Can't stamp without it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and creative idea! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOH Pattie! What a beautifully designed card!

Such a neat technique Patti! What a great way to highlight a smaller image like this! TFS!
ReplyDeleteSo, So cool - and I love how casual you are about this AWESOME thing that you have done here on this card!! First of all, you have to draw even, straight lines - not me, even with the help of a ruler!! But you made it look easy enough so maybe I will give it a try!! Such a cute, sweet card - those little birds - so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteThis totally ROCKS, Patti! LOVE the fun POP of color with the image, and the way you've stamped the sentiment repeatedly is amazing! HUGS, friend! :) Mynn xx
ReplyDeleteI like the way the design draws the eye in toward the cute birds! Nice card (as usual), MommaG!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! LOVING how you did the sentiment!!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet image and fabulous way to do your background with the sentiment!
