Hello, and Happy, Happy Weekend!
We're holding our breath here, as the forecast is for us to get another 8-12" of snow, beginning this evening and ending tomorrow. Monday's high temp is to be zero, with wind chills - will feel like 28 below! Brrrr...
So... what was my therapy for the 'day before the storm'?
Crafty fun with my friend, Shirley, of course! Here is one project we made:
Now, mine is hot pink, and Shirley's is a beautiful shade of green - you can see it HERE!
We dug out some old TAC stamps, and some YUMMY Amuse Studio ink and cardstock (Shirley is an Amuse Demonstrator, so she enables me often with lots of temptations!)
I had such a fun day - hope to finish up and post project #2 tomorrow!
On a side note - HOORAY MIZZOU!
We went to a great Cotton Bowl party last night, and watch the Tigers win.
It was a pretty good ball game - could have gone either way many times.
For those of you Okla. folks, we hated to see Okla. lose, as they are one of our faves too!
Have a great weekend,
Hugs & Blessings,
Patti J.
Love this pink creation Patty

You know I'm going to case yours right??? We needed a therapy creative play session.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have a friend to stamp with....your card is sooo pretty and spring like!! Hope the snow bypass you and it warms up soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of beautiful cards, you are stamping away, enjoying them all!
ReplyDeleteOhhh brrrr, hope you're keeping warm and toasty and out of that snow!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun with your friend, LOVE your pink theme xx
Oh your story about the post office did make me laugh - great minds think alike! (though I think the end to that saying is "and fools seldom differ" hahaha)
Be safe, stay warm, and continue to be crafty. Might as well, since it sounds like you won't be going anywhere for a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a bright and fresh-looking card, but I liked your friend's card in green, too. We're bracing for cold weather here, too. It's supposed to be in the -30s (actual temp!). I don't even want to think about wind chill!!! I went to the grocery store today, and I think everyone else in the city was there stocking up, as well. Stay warm!
ReplyDeletePretty in pink! I really like the little squares repeated.
ReplyDeleteI love PINK and this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletei'm also an amuse fan!
we've got about a foot of snow and right now (sun. 1/5) it's still coming down and 18F. temps tomorrow HERE are supposed to be a high of -18 with wind chill down to -45! this is just nuts. puppy doesn't want to go out now! what's gonna happen the next 2 days! and i'm STILL coughing so i'm not even attempting to go out. I even called my pastor last night to tell him I was NOT making service.
you just stay warm, stay safe and stay crafting!
thank you for your beautiful card (which came day-before yesterday)
hugs :)
Adorable card Patty. I´m so happy to be part of Creation by AR Design Team, thanks for your beautiful words!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I had a crafting day with a friend yesterday too.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty pink card.
Brr, it does sound cold. It is here in southern Ontario as well. I love your card. The pink is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteOk. Patti, you win. It's colder there than it is here. LOL :) I love this card. It's so simple, but yet so striking. I love that pink ink, too. God bless ya my friend. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteLovely, bright pink & flowers too. A perfectly cheery card sure to brighten the recipient's day. Glad you had a fun game to enjoy and what better way to spend a frosty day, than cardmaking with a sweet friend. Stay warm, hope you are able to stay cozy & not have to go out in the weather. I'm off to see Shirley's card, and TFS the link & your beautiful card. Happy New Year & Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! LOVE the pink!
ReplyDeleteCute card! We had to drive right through the beginning of your snow storm Saturday night on our way home from florida. Not fun! It's miserably cold here too and unfortunately we came home to a disaster: frozen pipes, frozen house. It's still only about 50 degrees in one part of our house and 40 degrees in another. we got most of the plumbing unfrozen, but one toilet is still not working and there seems to be a lack of water pressure so we don't know if we have a leak somewhere or if there is still ice blocking something. It's just so cold, the house can't heat up fast enough. UGH! Never again will I take a vacation in winter!
