Hello!
Welcome to my Wednesday post for Scraptownlady!
My project today is a CAS creation.
When I began to work on this week's card, I realized that many of the patterned papers
that Cheryl sent me are beautiful without a lot of embellishment.
Here is what I used to make this card!
and this...
Scraptownlady Supplies:
The card base is Kaiser Craft Powder Blue.
The next layer is a 3" strip of Kaiser Craft Sovereign Patterned Paper from the 75 Cents Collection.
The next layer is one of the 6 graphics in the above sheet of Kaiser Kraft Guinea from the 75 Cents Collection Paper.
Add a few Kaiser Craft Daffodil Sparklets and some Petaloo flowers, and voila!
Sometimes less, really IS more!
Designer's tip: Soften some of the sharp lines in your project, by simply rounding 2 opposite corners.
Thanks for dropping by!
Hope you will drop by the Scraptownlady blog, and become a follower, so you don't miss any of the fabulous creations that my fellow designers are posting. We each take a day of the week, so there is lots to see!

LOVE the warm blue and brown combo on this one Patti! I need to read this quote to my mom who is always blaming / making excuses for how she behaves now on things that have happened to her in the past.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to email you! hugs!
Gorgeous card and I like how the embellishments really showcase the sentiment. The recipient would definitely feel special receiving this work of he{art}!
ReplyDeleteThis is outstandingly beautiful! I love the card and the sentiment! In my life I found that once you can let go of the 'what happened' that defines you it is so much easier to be the person God has had planned for you.
ReplyDeleteMissing you my friend...so sorry I've been so absent!
