Charming Gardeners...

Oh, my!  I have had such fun with a new stamp set, that I couldn't wait to share!
A Muse Studio carries "Charming Gardeners", and was a perfect set for
creating some special Thank You notes, following our Anniversary Party last weekend.
The cardstocks and inks are all A Muse products, as well. Don't you just love
that pinstripe???

Using two colors of blue, the images were stamped in the lighter color first, and then again
in the darker shade.

I first experimented with this set, "Floral Duet", but decided that I preferred the softer flowers in the above cards, with the nice long stems, and certainly loved the verse.

But.....
I couldn't stop with the blues - I was hooked, and had to try this same card
in two shades of pink!  This one needed a Thinking of You sentiment, for someone special.
A ribbon was added at the bottom of this one to cover up a smear...you can
sort of see an extra piece of stem under the bow on the right :)  lol...
Camoflauged a bit!

What do you think?  Pink or blue?

Hope that you are all enjoying a lovely weekend.
We had a nice church service this morning, and are working on weekly reports and
a bit of laundry this afternoon.

Have a great week,
Patti J.

  3. Both cards are neat. Bet it would look good in shades
of purple or lavender and also in yellow. Seems
to me it would make a good basic card in any
color that strikes you at the time. Marian

  22. Wowzer!! Look at the array of gorgeous cards Patty!! I love your choice of colors on both but my fave is the blue. I am biased to blue and white though since it reminds me of delft china from Holland.
