Oops...
My blog had a birthday, and I forgot!
It's hard to believe, but I've been posting here for FOUR years - almost 800 posts!
I have a little blog candy to share today! Who wants to win this?
I had a project published in this issue. My copy came today, and I am so impressed - I can't stop reading! There are so many talented artists, and talk about inspiration - wowza! And the photography?
Each and every page is incredible!
Oh....I am so ready to start on Christmas items now!
ANYway.....here's what you have to do to win:
- Leave me a comment, here on this post, telling me how many Christmas cards you send out each year, and if you make them, or buy them. I think it will be fun to see what others do!
Personally, I make some, and buy others. We send out less and less each year, it seems, but I think we average about 50-60.
Can't WAIT to read all of your replies!
Happy 4th Birthday to my blog!
Congrats on having another project published my friend! You deserve the recognition!
ReplyDeleteI usually send out about 100 and hand-deliver maybe 15-20 more. All handmade...speaking of which I better get cracking! LOL! =)
Happy birthday to Patti's wonderful blog! Woohoo, on another published card...you rock!
ReplyDeleteI send out 20-30 cards usually and each year it depends on what is going on whether or not I have time to hand make them. Last year I took a photo of my boys and made a photo card. The year before we sent out some lovely Thomas Kinkade cards. :)
Congrats sweetie and Happy Blogaversary...I was so thrilled when I seen your project in my copy.
ReplyDeleteI send 50-75 cards and I try to take people off the list every year
Happy Anniversary Patti!!! I send out what I made thoughout the year. Maybe about 15 or so. Can you believe that-from a card maker girl!LOL When the kids were growing up, I sent photo cards for about 25 years-now my kids send them too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Patti, that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteAs for Christmas cards, like you, I buy some and make some. I have cut back on sending cards as the stamps are very expensive here but I do like to stay in touch with the gals from our old Squadron. Hugs...Carole xox
Congratulations on four years, Patti. That's amazing! I send out85-90 handmade cards each year. I've also started making all my own Christmas tags. I always go through the cards I have received after the New Year and I look for "card parts" that I can use to make tags. I've actually been able to make some beautiful tags with them. Thanks for continuing your blog after four years!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tags in that issue Patti! I even have that Hero Arts stamp set and looking forward to CASEing your tags for Christmas this year :) Great being in that issue with you and congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteI do handmade and bought. We usually send around 48 cards. I may do some photo cards this year to share pics from the latest wedding.
ReplyDeleteWho wants to win? Me, me, me......
PS. I missed my Blogoversary this year, also.
We only do about 20-30 holiday cards anymore. I just started handmaking them last year. So this will be my second year to send handmade cards!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 4 year anniversary and being published again, I can't wait to see your design! We send about 70 Christmas cards, maybe 10-20 not homemade, can't believe I'm admitting that in blog world. Maybe I better work on them this w/e. Have a fun w/e.
ReplyDeleteAhh...Christmas cards. I've made them and I've bought them. Ha, ha. The last two years I've made them and made around 60 cards. It seems though that each year I get less and less cards in the mail. Do people not want them anymore? Or maybe they don't like my handmade ones. Ha, ha. Congrats on your publication. That does look like an idea filled edition!

ReplyDeleteI send out around 100 cards each year - all hand made. A lot of them are done assembyline while I'm watching TV. I enjoy making them and my friends tell me they enjoy receiving them so it makes it all worthwhile. I keep a photo log of the ones I've sent - it's interesting to see how my cards have evolved each year. Thanks for all your inspiration.
