However, it is time for another Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built! Today's challenge hostess is the incredibly talented Cheri, and she has asked that we create a card with a beach theme. I'll just stop jabbering now, and show you my card for the challenge:
Repeat Impressions Stamps: 4503W Beach Time, 4320W Wild Daisies, 9003W Happy Summer, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Post-It Note, Pearls from Michael's. |
My crafty time has been at a minimum lately, so I needed to make something that would come together in a very speedy manner...
I began by stamping the sweet image where I thought it should go. I stamped the image again on a post it note, and masked off the image on the main panel with the post it image. Then, using an old oval template that I created a long while back, I did some sponging layers with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Dabbed on some 'sand' with a sponge and ink. Finished up by stamping a row of flowers, and a sentiment, and adding a few pearls from Michael's. Voila! Very, very fast and easy card!
Please head over to the RI blog, The House That Stamps Built for all of the challenge details, and be sure to check out all of the beautiful creations that my fellow Rock Stars have made for you today!
Edited!!!!!!! If you have time today, check out the CardMaker blog! Just sayin...... lol...I'm so excited! While you are there, be sure to grab one of their badges for your sidebar - you could be featured next! Oh...and leave a nice comment, so they know we like this feature! Thanks :)
Hope you are all doing well. At my age, if I can get out of bed in the morning, my eyes open, and my feet work, I'm feeling pretty blessed! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
Hugs, Patti J.
